Sony TV's are the BEST. I have 60' from 2006, 42" from 2009, another 60' from 2012 and 75" from 2022 - and ALL of the are working as day 1. Great.Great TV brand. FYI that first 60' from 2005 was working as a display in Best Buy and still doing his magic. Sorry but no other brand can come close to Amazing Sony TV 🙏
I’m confused on the 7.1 surround implementation. Soundbars act as receivers themselves, so how will that work in tandem with a 7.1 component system on the same TV… and I guess why not just do one and not the other?
What a great place, congrats. I live in a modern similar style house with similar ambient light, so Im strongly considering the 85" of this versus a 98" of the x90l. Its the age old question of quality versus size. I know the x90l is a FALD, but its got to be one of the best ones ive ever seen.
Looks like you will need a lot of room treatment in that space, sound will hit all the hard surfaces be like an echo chamber, need rugs and curtains and acoustic wall panels for bass traps
This TV is sick. The best in the market right now (sorry LG fan boys). I cannot buy something this expensive anymore thought. My home PC or my car, are about the last things I can still spend a bit more, without getting any flak from my wife. Haha. When I needed a new TV during the pandemic, I went with the Sony X750H (65-inch 4K Ultra HD LED TV), as it is the base model, and way cheaper than this one. Once you have a wife and children, you just can't be buying the most epensive TV anymore. But if I was still single, of course I would get it :).
With local dimming enabled, the black bars are completely black. There appears to be an issue with some movies on Bravia Core however that disable local dimming completely but I've not seen this issue in other apps.
Absolutely, been on Sony TV’s as a customer for years. Although I usually lean OLED, condo living room is really bright so MINI LED has that advantage by a mile.
@@andrewmutavi590 There is no good Lg mini led tv, only good tvs from Lg are there Oled models. This can be verified from every single professional review publication. The leaders in Mini LED are Samsung, This specific Sony model is very good because of the backlight master drive in the 85” model. This is an excellent tv from Sony, albeit costly.
Hey Justin. I have 2 Bravias as I'm all in with Google TV. One disappointment is the Ethernet port that is only 10/100 Mbps. Is it the same for this one? Specs doesnt say. Where this tv will be, I need to hardwire it as wifi is not great, even with my mesh. Thanks! Great video.
All ports are 100 Mbps or less on tvs. If you need faster then that’s what Wi-Fi 6 exist which most high end tvs like this normally support. First you need to state if your internet is Fiber or not and what is the max speeds. If you have 1000Mbps then you should definitely be surfing well above 500+ Mbps with a proper mesh.
i've worked around the limitation by connecting a USB-gigabit ethernet adapter into the USB 3.0 port. This unlocked gigabit ethernet speeds for my TV and the adapter really isn't expensive at all. If you have a USB 3.0 port on your TV you could look into that.

Sony TVs are great, have 3 in my home and though they’re pricey they’re worth every penny for the quality
I really enjoy your living room tours
I really love your living room and the TV

How's your off axis viewing?
Would this product improve my productivity setup and allow to increase my productivity while I productively procrastinate?
How much does the media wall cost?
Hey, can you tell me where you got your TV console? I'd like to buy one myself!

Haha 😂 so true. Good job though prioritizing your family, that’s what really matters 😎 👍
But yeah, if someone is single and they can afford it, then go for the nice TV! 😅
Yes, but his couch is too close for the size. He should have done 75 because you lose resolution any bigger
When there are black bars while playing back certain movies, are they black or are they a little gray?

Sponsorship aside, which tv would you actually buy?

@@JustinTse well am a UST projector guy but I hear u still if I was going for a tv I'd go with an LG mini LED,not a sony

@@tears2040 well just have to agree to disagree on this
This is a very good Tv I had it for a while but only the 85” inch model, the smaller sizes have different panels so the quality isn’t as good
Got it!
AVA Love movie👍 4:19
They need this in larger sizes like 83 asap
Holy shit, Beolab 18? Damn, expensive.
mini led
Mini led
Will this tv get burn-in if the brightness is too high tho?
No, this is an LED tv not Oled.
