VIDEO 04 CCO SYSTEM & MINIPLATES

• This is a complex case that is being treated by my residents in Brazil under my orientation at www.ortogeo.com.br
• Severe skeletal open bite, 19yo, male. Hyper divergent, ANS-PNS (Palatal Plane) rotated (counter clockwise), no excessive exposure of the Upper Incisors: need for maxillary posterior segment intrusion.
• In the other hand, pretty symmetric and no major concerns about TMJs. Miniplates were activated right after Stage 1 (.016"Sentalloy and .20"x.020"Bioforce) for upper molars intrusion, lower molars distalization and vertical control.
• Stage 2 .019"x.025"SS with counter (lingual crown) torque and 3/16"inter maxillary rubber bands to control side effects and also to promote lower molars uprighting, besides distal steps bending (highlighted by red circles). Now waiting to set myself free from the NY quarantine in order to fly to Brazil for debonding!
