Is this really hard? I play guitar as self taught and only know 4 chords and I would like to learn this, so how long will it take to learn or should I start from something esier?
Yes, u may start from some tab for beginner, then it will much easier to u to pick up and get used to it. But the most important is you need keep practising 🙂
@@benha3187 That slap (e.g. In the "I'm shaking, drinking all this coffee" you hear those small taps), it's the nail of his pinky that's hitting the board of the guitar itself, just below the high e string. Is this what you mean? Because if you're talking about the percussive muting just use the tips of all three fingers that you mentioned to mute it.
The slap combined with the strum. So the thumb slapping on the low e strings, and the strumming of the other strings. I was just curious what finger we was using.

Quick question! What finger are you using to strike at the notes when doing the percussive slap?
you use the side of your thumb to hit the E string.
