I've looked and looked and can't find the same type of box you used that has the wire crimp connection for the DC wires. Please provide product Number if you can. My 30amp panel also has two 40amp fuses which are isolated from the others. It was hard to tell from your video, but it looked like there are 3 yellow fuses which were isolated in your panel as well? Any helpful info would be appreciated. Hope your travels are going well.
I've been dealing with the same thing. My 30 amp panel has the converter built into it and has 2 40amp fuses in and a blue wire. My new 50 amp panel had no place for the 40 amp fuses or that blue wire I was lost. But I got a separate new PowerMax converter and it has the 40 amp fuses built into it and just the 2 wire hookup on the DC. Hope this helps.
@@smoreguy5022 no mine doesn't, but I only have 10 DC wires. They went quick. I looked on this little fuse box I bought and there's not a marking on anywhere. kind of sketchy. Lol
All of the existing wire would work fine except for the line main line from the pigtail to the distribution box. His unit was close enough that he just changed out a small piece of wire from the outside connection to the panel. . My unit for example. The shore cord is in the back corner connected to a junction box inside. From that box the main feed wire runs about 20ft under the floor to the distribution panel. This would be the wire that needs replaced just like the end of his video. And odds are the way they build these things its tangled with all the other wiring. Probably easier to in my case to disconnect it and leave it in the floor. Just run a new wire some how.
Filming in portrait mode is a crime, but this video is still the best tutorial on YT regarding this upgrade! 😂✌🏼👏🏻 Thx for posting!
I think you want 1 ac on each side of the 50 amp breaker btw. Great info!
i was going to stay the same thing... overall nice upgrade and info
This was super helpful dude

@@livinghorizons7068 ok thanks, but would you have the item number and did your 50 amp panel have the crimp on connectors?

I too can’t find the box
Do you have to change any of the other wiring in the trailer for things like the refrigerator etc…?
No.

@@livinghorizons7068 we’re you able to get the same exact one? If so could you share your resources. Thank you.
Can you add a link please
@@livinghorizons7068have a link? Can’t find it
Model number on the box?
Did you change your converter
He didn't add any 12 volt things he doesn't need to change the converter.
Maybe invest in a tripod
