We can synthesize two seemingly opposing concepts and create a higher concept in itself, like Hegel proposed with his thesis-antithesis-synthesis aspect of his philosophical system. Imagine what we can create and discover when we have artful scientists, intuitive mathematicians, musical biologists, etc.

Anti-science is such an interesting label considering how powerful it’s become. Nowadays, anyone who is even remotely skeptical of the limitations of the scientific method risks being labelled anti-science.
Agreed but I fail to see how Science can be labelled as a form of aesthetics - is chemotherapy an aesthetic solution to a problem or one bound to a truer understanding of a level of reality than poetry can hope to approximate?

The problem with science is that it claims epistemic pre-eminence... If we viewed science the way Terence is describing here, just another form of art equated with institutions such as astrology, science can actually do it's work without being ideologically compromised.
So, you're saying. It's us, the people who are responsible for keeping the western science alive? No, it's our job to demand that the institutions begin cleaning house of their flawed methodology or get left behind due to their own incompetence. We are now beginning to touch on what the Universe and our Mother Earth is offering us. The real question is, are we too late?

You can’t really explain exactly what’s going on with scientific language because what is going on can’t be described in words. If it’s words being used the picture won’t ever be complete.
Science speaks in maths and binary; then translates into language descriptive. The error is to believe that everything can be explained in maths and binary...

The divide between left and right hemispheres doesn't have to be a battle.
Opposites are compensatory, not antithetical

Science needs to act like it's a branch of art. edit - again. Since they used to be synonymous with one another. Consider DaVinci.
