@@DarksideDevelopments I've mostly modded land rover defender's and worked on 300 and 200 tdis + one 19j + 2l old flat four vw,don't know anything about v10s but prepped 300 for deep water,tested near stocks bridge,water ingress up to seat base lol door seals probably actually seal on a touareg?:)

I have a problem with my v10 tdi phaeton. The left side of the cylinder bank is always leaking where the agr egr is. The car is optimized to 390hp. Sometimes it looses power. Turbos goes off
Is it the same real exhaust as Porsche Cayenne 1. Generation? If, than you also can put tubes in the muffler in 5 minutes without welding! Same result, But looks street legal.

Check if the dual mass flywheel is still ok, when you start it with cold engine you can hear a rattle in neutral when it’s bad. And check if the dsg and clutch are well. No slip, clunks, vibrations etc. Soot load of dpf.
How come it only makes 330 odd hp with 600 odd nm torque from a mapped v10 tdi? My 2013 remapped jag xj makes 350 hp with 740 nm torque from its Peugeot 3.0 V6 twin turbo stage 1, dpf/cat delete. The vw has 2 more litre displacement and 4 more cylinders!!!!
Do you do anything with fords? I've got a 2005 focus 2.0tdci with dpf delete egr delete and silencer delete with st style exhaust its apparently running about 170ish bhp been told its had stage 2 but a few companys have said I should easily beable to get 200ish with a stage 2
Compared to any gasoline engine car with that same power diesels are efficient.. To get those numbers from gasoline engine you would be looking at something like challenger with 3.5l V8, and the fuel consumption of that engine is nearly twice as what this consume on the same load. Been looking to trade in my BMW 330D for a gasoline engine car which could give me the same amount of power. Cant find any descent options that would give the same fuel efficiency and a power to what I have now. Bmw`s with lets say 3ltr engine or 3.5l engine will get me ~15-18l/100km in city conditions, now I fit in 9ltr/100km... And on a highway I can drop it down to ~6-7ltrs/100km doing a 120-140km/h There is simply no replacement. And sorry I can hardly believe I make a bigger footstep burning at least 2x less fuel for the same distance crossed..
Linas Vaičiukynas You forget NOX particles. No gasoline engine pollutes these, only diesel and especially elder diesels. That is why the government is being hard on diesel engines
I've just had the best idea, in the world😎 hear me out, when you've done all you can with this beast, lift the engine out and put into something like an A6, or literally anything that will take it😂 I know its a big lump so it physically won't fit in a lot of the smaller cars, and it would ruin the handling of smaller cars so it would have to be ATEAST saloon sized to stand a chance, but we're not talking about sensible cars here are we, I just think that would be awesome. Edit: The smaller car you can get this into the better👌 If you can't get that V10 in anything else surely an older A8 would work? They had the 4.2 TDI in them a while ago didnt they? Or just tell me know that straight up isn't going to work😂
The V10 Touaregs are problematic mostly because the engine barely fits in them to begin with. To do a lot of engine work you apparently have to drop the entire front subframe with the engine on it as a unit. Finding another VAG platform to fit it into, besides the Phaeton, would be pretty challenging!

If you use the space that is left to add an n bend in the pipe it will stop water flooding in if you stall when wading
It wont stall, unless it swallows some then it wont matter!

Buy a phaeton, they came with it.
