Venom has mostly done it well. Keeping the things why people listen to them and bringing the sounds to modern era. Many others have failed.

I think they just need a better production quality. Personally, I don't think you get that full heaviness from this quality. If they used the same shit Deicide uses, or.. any death/thrash/black metal band uses, I think it'd just make the album a whole lot better to listen to.
