I’m sure he would have just LOVED to draw 4 more names. Just goes to show people don’t pay attention to the community tab. I know I don’t. Only for a few channels I actually really really like like Mr DB here
Thanks, still working on it here and there. I always play around with changing different characters or how they join. That calligraphy lesson helped the most when it came to improving my writing.
Interesting, just as I am thinking to make my signet ring from beginning to give-up all by myself, RUclips tells me about this video. Thanks for the video, I really enjoyed watching it.
I'm always trying new things & switch it up to see what I like & what works. My T was bad for a while but it's slowly getting better. I cross the h after a t to help it out a bit. Seems a bit better.
Do you know if it would make any difference if you were to heat and melt the wax slowly? I feel like it fumes much less when it is heated slower, almost as if I am burning the wax if I go quick I look forward to hearing your opinion
@@Doodlebud I agree but I should've worried comment differently, would it make a difference to the result of the stamp; as in, could it be less wrinkly if it is heated slowly?
DB, do you have a place that lists all your coupon thingy's. I purchased (with a coupon code from you) a smooth aluminum pen with a 5 or 6 Bock nib, no branding, both ends are pointed, very nicely machined and anodized blue. Thanks! BTW, love all your stuff...never miss one.
that torch was super fast... but i still prefer the slow, candle melting with a stand. it results much less air bubbles than what you did.
All that talk of tea lights, incense, soothing tea.
And then the engineer kicks in and a huge butane torch appears.
I appreciate the idea of soothing teas, candles, mediation, etc..... but my technical mind takes hold and says "Screw it! Just get the torch!"
I’m glad someone finally claimed the prize!
Me too 😂

@@avgjoeshow4208 notifications have been weird lately for me. I have all turned on, but didn't see the first 3 winners chosen
@@slo_carry Congrats... 😎 !!!
Your handwriting has seen much improvement with the calligraphy practice! It shows.
Also, that was a geeky lil math poem and I loved it!

Great handwriting!
Congrats to John. Cool video
That's fun, DB. I suspect there's another deep rabbit hole there...

Idk, I was here for the wax stamp but the sad letter had me in tears 😂
Very cool! Love the letter! ❤❤
John: Here's the prize for the raffle from DB himself, the pen RUclipsr! I wonder what the card says!
DB: We're breaking up.
Nice topic. Really enjoyed it. Thanks.
Congrats John! Great video
Your Cursive S and D is brilliant. My weakness is a T.

Great channel DoodleBud.
Thanks 👍
My brain 😱as Doodlebud places the hot metal on the self-healing mat.

Getting the wax so hot its smoking like what I did probably isn't a good thing for it, so lower heat is probably better LOL

Easy test to do to find out and see the difference
Interesting, thank you!
Huzzah for John!
Wouldn't it be awesome if Montblanc did a flex grade pen.
They have their MB149 with a calligraphy nib. And the price of course reflects that

I try to include as much info as I can in the description in my videos but sometimes I don't. I need to get my website up and running!
Doodlebud please tell me where you announce the winners?
I second this - I can't seem to find it
I make a post and it should show up in your feed. I also reply to the person who was selected informing them they've won so they get an alert
I have thought of doing a seal. I thought of the folu seal butau be a bit intricate. Simple is better I think.
BOOM
Well done, even if to my taste wax seals are a little too preciously retro.
Try adding a little salt, if they're not to your liking.
@@Dosbomber LOL. I prefer Tabasco :)
Little dap will do yea.
