it's probably time for the vf community to re-rip and upload those dvd's not expecting hd at 60 fps but all this 144-240p stuff is hard to watch nowadays
Yeah it would be nice to see rips of these upscaled to something like 1080p if the DVDs already run at 60fps youtube will pick up that framerate as long as the resolution of the video uploaded is 720p or higher.
From my experience from repeatedly getting clapped by Akira, sidestepping is the best way to counter most of his moves. Very little of his hits have tracking, so sidestepping and punishing (usually when the move is being executed) is the best way to deal with his fast, high-damaging attacks PS, I know this comment is too dated to be responding to, but I hope it helps
