The Convoy 3×21D gives you a lot in its performance. You can’t beat the price of this light.if you’re willing to spend the money, Manker, MK, 35. II is a beautiful piece.I would love to see you put out a video on this torch. It’s a little pricey but I like it more than my Thrunite TN42 V2. 🔦
I think they added an extra 0 on the throw numbers. 235,000cd sounds much more accurate than 2,350,000cd for an SBT light of this size diameter.
That battery is amazing, its larger than my 100wh power bank at half the size at whopping 118wh capacity!
The over heated is the problem is the lumens is high. they still struggle dealing with heat.

That SBT90.2 is nice, I got one in my Noctigon thrower. But 3065m seems like a stretch.
They aren't bad, but they always seem to need a harsh step down no matter how big the host.

i'm on the fence to get the older 4x18a (better regulation) or the newer simpler,lighter fet l21a/b sbt90.2 convoys.. hmmh..
Nice review. It's a pity that the light range was cheated too much by the manufacturer. It would be nice to see some LEP review, e.g. Acebeam Terminator M1 (Dual head LEP|LED) 😎 or the new Acebeam W35 LEP.

I am currently doing the Weltool W5 Pro.
It's unusual for Astrolux to get their numbers wrong like that. To get that throw on an SBT you'd need a 200mm reflector. 😁
If reflector size is 200mm. actually with SBT led it will go up to 5,000,000cd
Huge battery, big light but still can't sustain 1500 lumens? That's shoddy work by Astrolux. My 3 year old Acebeam K30gt is much smaller but still sustains 2000 lumes for an hour and a half
SBT90.2 torches never hold much power.
If astrolux put HBO103w or LEP,shortarc light source in this flashlight distance 3065 meters would be true because there is no LED that can do it in a small reflector like this

The Convoy 3x21d is incredible and isn't falsely advertised. 1817 meters for throw! My 3x21d is my 2nd longest thrower. Fantastic bargain!

NICE! I love the massive cell in this torch but the price was a bit shocking for a single emitter Astrolux. I will have to wait for a sale or price drop. My Convoy L7 has the same output and throw for half the price but I like the size of the EC01X. It's 59.6mm shorter then the L7 which is nice. 32000mah cell, WOW! That 46950 cell can't be cheap and there is the 50 dollar SBT90.2 emitter. As always when I watch your video's I'll wind up purchasing one lol. Great video as always! Thumbs up!

11 18650s? I'd say more like 9 or 10, depending on what you get. They sell 18650s up to like 3600 mah now, right?
3600 have low discharge rates.
The similar Lumintop GT46 (46800 battery) is slightly cheaper and has higher output but less throw. What would be your preference?
Only reviewed this one and I can't live with the Turbo ui controls.
The Lumintop sells without the battery, which I am sure is a big part of the cost. Be sure to factor that in. Plus the manufacturers pictures shows a custom battery with charging connector, so likely that the flashlight itself does not offer charging in the host and you will have take the battery out every time you need to charge. So definitely not operational whilst charging unless you buy two of these monster cells.

Great review as always! But that is one ugly looking torch. Made by sofirn i guess? Only sofirn can make consistently weird looking torches. Great value lights but hard on the eye.

I dont understand why would you put 3065m in the title knowing thats not true? doesn't matter whose fault is it you can't just be part of the false advertising. this is the equivalent of reviewing a $5 chinese zoom light claiming 999,999lm and 10km throw
It's so people know this is the light advertised. They can then watch the video to see if it is really 3065m. If I didn't post test results then I'd not put it in the title.
I know it's probably astrolux's mistake, and you're just repeating it... but this 3065m throw number comes off as false advertising, kind of. It would be nice if you corrected it to the real values in the title and thumbnail at least, and made a disclaimer in the description or something. It's just plain wrong

If the numbers were even close to what they stated, then, maybe it would be worth what they are asking for it.
Claims don't bother me much tbh, I knew it would be around 1300m before even turning it on. I just can't abide the Turbo control. It's the same with Amutorch. I can never get the hang of turning Turbo off or changing brightness from Turbo.

@floras7826 I'm not sure, It's quite a niche light. Astrolux are usually way out on the throw measurement anyway. The 500,000 lumen T6 zoomie $5 flashlights selling for $20 on amazon is a bigger issue.
