Spinning Cotton on a Bosworth Attaché Charkha

In this quick video, I am spinning cotton on my brand new Bosworth Attaché Charkha. I am spinning cotton roving. It is hard to record the entire motions in the frame, but hopefully, you’ll get the gist of it. In a future video I can try getting multiple angles. Enjoy!

Do you ply it together then? If so how do you do that on the charkha?

How do you draft without getting twist into all the fibers?

I got one of these last year but I've been abit nervous about getting it set up, is it easy enough to get started?

Heather Swift I would get started on it. It is pretty easy to get started, but as with anything new, there is a learning curve. I think practicing short periods of time will be helpful.
