Thanks Mindy! Don't worry about reservations too much. Just have that game plan that you talked about. One of the little things I like to do is get to the cruise terminal early before they start allowing boarding, and try to connect to the ship's WiFi to make any reservations I do not have at that time, before even getting on the ship. Usually you can grab the times you want if you do this.

We always check our MDR table very early. Nevertheless, if the maitre d' is just not interested in helping you, you are lost!
Happened to us two weeks ago in the mediterranean, we always want a table for two... And of course we were assigned a table for 4.
He said he would change us for the next day, so we were dining the first evening with a really not appealing couple hoping for the message of another table starting from day 2. Our request was denied, in many sentences, with lots of "hot air words" but nothing behind it but a "no" - what a dazzler!!!
We decided to not visit the MDR again, a look at the menu via the app proved us right.
9 times out of 10, my Maitre d' was helpful with any requests we made. If possible they usually will accommodate. If I get nowhere with them and I think I'm being "ignored", I do bring it up the chain to the hotel manager. That usually will provide the needed emphasis if I deem it worth the effort.

Regarding the linked guests, I’ve called Celebrity several times to get my party linked with friends. Unfortunately, it didn’t work as once they told me they were linked I noticed that my account included all of my friends payments and amount owed on my account. Had to call them back to try and get it corrected but never got the two linked.

That’s weird that you got the accounts financially linked. I never had a problem linking my accounts on Celebrity or Royal.
You can also do this on your own via the add a cruise function in the cruise planner
@@CruiseSeakers I grew up in the Chicago area so very familiar with Evanston and Northwestern. It was great that they won that bowl game.
I’m not familiar with that function in the cruise planner. I’ll see if I can navigate through it but afraid that my OBC will get messed up again. My friends are on my time dining as well but couldn’t arrange to get the same set time.
