- In this first video of a new series, we share the heartwarming story of our our Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Pat Meaders. My Uncle Jimmy often dreamed of having their love story told, even as far back as 1942 when their romance began through letters during WWII. (You can find that in many of the letters). Their story is one of love, devotion, and commitment, culminating in a marriage that lasted 48 and a half years. They were an inspiration to our family, and I hope their journey touches your heart as it has ours. I can't wait for you to get to know them and be inspired by their enduring love through their letters and story.
"We ought to put our letters together and add a little to it and make up a book if it was just for ourselves. Don't you think that would be cute and I would think quite interesting too!"
