I have worn the Civivi Shredder with Damascus blade in my front pants pocket for over two years now and not once has it got caught on anything. I wore it in my front right pants pocket for most of that time but recently switched to front left pocket. I also reverse flick most of the time and have not been bothered by the edge. I find it extremely comfortable and have no complaints. I recently had it professionally sharpened and it is good as new!

fun fact, this is one of the thinnest behind the edge I've measured, 0.017" thats thinner most of my bucks, thinner than my Inkosi and thinner than any flat ground knife ive seen or owned... all for under $60.. however I am eager to get my hands on a Civivi Dogma in Brass or Copper

I agree that the Praxis is the absolute most knife you can get for the money. And that is one of my favorite knives.

Just coming across your review (which is great btw) because I was thinking about getting a Shredder and one thing I'd like to see is more comparisons to CIVIVI's themselves. I have an Ortis, Baklash and Aquila so seeing some on camera comparisons would be nice. I realize a lot of these knives get passed around for reviews so that's not always possible. Since you mentioned this vs the Baklash, I wish this had a black blade option like the Baklash! The Ortis is still my favorite CIVIVI btw and the only budget knife I like more than it is the Kizer Dukes. Have a good one!

Even though it’s a bit bigger than I usually buy...I love the shredder. I think it might be my favorite Civivi and that’s saying a lot because they are all excellent. I think I might grind that flipper hole down a bit, smooth out that edge.

Well I almost bought AZT 452 CF for $240 but I saw that Shredder and it's just about close to it not as much refined but it will do 460 bucks I'll give it a try I love the looks the way it's the blade everything so I think I'll go with the sweetie Shredder thanks William Boyle

I do enjoy my Civivis. Have a Rustic Gent in my pocket at the moment. I like the look of the Shredder, but the blade is a bit to long for most of the places I end up day to day.

Just ordered one from your Amazon link. First new knife of 2020. Prediction for this year: Civivi will keep on killing it. (Not really going out on a limb saying that.) Every model they're releasing is a winner. And they're mixing it up with knives like the governor with thumb studs and pb washers, and rustic gent, modern slipjoint. So far the baklash has been my favorite, but I'm feeling like the shredder is going to give it a run.
