Klaus fell in love with Caroline. He fell in love with her smile, the little cute moments he had with her, the way she rejected him even though they both knew they had a connection. Their on and off relationship gave these characters the adventure and passion they desired. And let's be real, he wasn't in love with Camille like he loved Caroline. He loved the feeling she provided him, and the resemblance she had to Caroline. Maybe at some point he loved her for real, but it wasn't as strong as the love he had for Caroline. Their love was epic, and I dont think Klamille topped that 🤷♀️

She knew her and Klaus had a connection something special, and she would’ve gone for it with him if it hadn’t been for her friends and their view of him. Everyone was a bad guy at one point. Damon, Stefan, Enzo, Jeremy, Tyler, etc, etc. But they were all forgiven. And Klaus wasn’t 😭😭

That's not totally what I think she meant. Caroline is kinda a fighter. I think if she saw that he was changing she would have fought for him even if her friends still didn't like him. But it took him like arguably 16 years to do that lol. She made that comment back in TVD that she's had moments where she mighta fallen for him but then he does these terrible things that stop her. And I guess she reiterated it above that all she ever wanted was for him to be a good person.

Like Caroline said, part of her always knew he wasn’t the villain in her story. She wasn’t afraid of him, and maybe in a different life she would’ve pursued a relationship with him. But she put on this facade for her friends, she was scared of what they would think of her if they knew the truth. That’s why she kissed Klaus in the forest after he told her he would leave forever. Even after she couldn’t bring herself to be with him, because how could she, when all these years she had resisted, convincing herself he was bad. Caroline always had to work twice as hard to prove herself to her friends, and she was so scared they’d drop her or be unsupportive, and she wasn’t wrong to think that. I’m happy that in the end Caroline accepted her true feelings and finally stopped caring about what other people think, but sadly it was too late, and that’s why she didn’t fully open herself up to klaus. That’s why she didn’t tell him I love you, or they didn’t have a real passionate and long kiss. Because she knew he was dying and she didn’t want her heart to be broken. I hope klaroline will be endgame and they bring back Klaus or something but I honestly doubt that will happen unless everyone bands together on Twitter, I’m talking about like thousands of people. Let’s do it!

So this is the only time I hate Alaric.I really appreciate him because the way he protect Nik's daughter in Legacies. But in this scene i hated him. He's too judgmental in this scene. Care sacrificed her feelings for Nik mainly because of other people's happiness and she worried about other people's opinions in tvd.And finally she was able to find her true feelings about Nik without worring about other people's opinions.Her lot of friends are already moved on and there's no one to Judge her.And Alaric is the only one left and he judged her too harshly. I get that Alaric also loved her but she didn't have romantic interest about him. So in these conditions Nik and care wouldn't get the chance even if he didn't die because these people are really judgemental assholes about them. Alaric really hurt care by saying those things. Atleast she didn't listen to him i'm glad about that

Some people are mad that Klaroline didn't end up being the endgame (believe me, I'm one of them) but TO got a fully, and carefully, crafted ending instead of getting cancelled in midst of planning for more, and got a proper knot to finish the series. Still one of the best ships on tv. All so unexpected from both writers and fans. And I know fan service can ruin the show, but for a CW show, and a show that has serviced fans in the most laziest ways, you would think taking advantage of the gold mine would have been something they were willing to truly feed. Klaroline was magnificent. They stole the show. And the spin off paid the price because they went so wrong with their ending when they could have saved their mistakes.

Idk shy people always fight over who Klaus loved more, Caroline or Camille. Klaus was immortal over 1000 years…he was not held to the same form and ideas of loving that others were. He had many loves and nothing says he couldn’t love them all strongly. I mean shit, even in the Originals with Aurora he knew he wouldn’t be able to kill her, because part of him still cared for her. Klaus may have acted out most of his life but he was most definitely a sensitive and deeply passionate person when he cared about someone, and he loved them both deeply.

But it shouldn't of been the last. There should've been some Original werewolf related seasons, as they are in the books. Like Caroline said, part of her always knew he wasn’t the villain in her story. She wasn’t afraid of him, and maybe in a different life she would’ve pursued a relationship with him.
But she put on this facade for her friends, she was scared of what they would think of her if they knew the truth. That’s why she kissed Klaus in the forest after he told her he would leave forever. Even after she couldn’t bring herself to be with him, because how could she, when all these years she had resisted, convincing herself he was bad.
Caroline always had to work twice as hard to prove herself to her friends, and she was so scared they’d drop her or be unsupportive, and she wasn’t wrong to think that. I’m happy that in the end Caroline accepted her true feelings and finally stopped caring about what other people think, but sadly it was too late, and that’s why she didn’t fully open herself up to klaus.
That’s why she didn’t tell him I love you, or they didn’t have a real passionate and long kiss. Because she knew he was dying and she didn’t want her heart to be broken. I hope klaroline will be endgame and they bring back Klaus or something but I honestly doubt that will happen unless everyone bands together on Twitter, I’m talking about like thousands of people. Let’s do it!

So this is the only time I hate Alaric.I really appreciate him because the way he protect Nik's daughter in Legacies. But in this scene i hated him. He's too judgmental in this scene. Care sacrificed her feelings for Nik mainly because of other people's happiness and she worried about other people's opinions in tvd.And finally she was able to find her true feelings about Nik without worring about other people's opinions.Her lot of friends are already moved on and there's no one to Judge her.And Alaric is the only one left and he judged her too harshly. I get that Alaric also loved her but she didn't have romantic interest about him. So in these conditions Nik and care wouldn't get the chance even if he didn't die because these people are really judgemental assholes about them. Alaric really hurt care by saying those things. Atleast she didn't listen to him i'm glad about that

the expression on klaus’ face shows that there aren’t many moments where people show they care for him. Yea, his family cares, but I’m talking about the real moments like this where Alaric tells him Caroline couldn’t watch him die. He knows then that she cares about him that much. There’s hardly moments like that.
This is so frustrating, few yrs later im still hurting .. like after 17 yrs she finally admited her feeling to him, she was ready to accept him.

Still one of the best ships on tv. All so unexpected from both writers and fans. And I know fan service can ruin the show, but for a CW show, and a show that has serviced fans in the most laziest ways, you would think taking advantage of the gold mine would have been something they were willing to truly feed. Klaroline was magnificent. They stole the show. And the spin off paid the price because they went so wrong with their ending when they could have saved their mistakes.

Idk shy people always fight over who Klaus loved more, Caroline or Camille. Klaus was immortal over 1000 years…he was not held to the same form and ideas of loving that others were. He had many loves and nothing says he couldn’t love them all strongly. I mean shit, even in the Originals with Aurora he knew he wouldn’t be able to kill her, because part of him still cared for her. Klaus may have acted out most of his life but he was most definitely a sensitive and deeply passionate person when he cared about someone, and he loved them both deeply.
