This is my favorite new song -- I love the old gospel feel to it, and the message is beautiful. We sang it in church, and people dove right in and sang it with everything they had, unlike some of the newer stuff with hard-to-follow rhythms. The first time I played it by ear on guitar I automatically went right to that D chord (with F# bass) in the chorus, kind of cracked me up to hear it be such a challenge to describe. Please guys, write us another one! Blessings!

This isn't a jab but just goes to show you don't have to have it all together for God to use you. Quite entertaining to watch the tutorial section. 😂 Sometimes you know what you know but trying to explain it is another thing. This is a beautiful song. Takes me back to my childhood in Bristol 😊 where the radio station choices (at least with my grandma) were gospel, country or gospel 😂 ❤️ Songs like this are a cornerstone. Thanks for sharing. chord at 9:20 is D/F# or major 2nd in the first inversion, but in this context would be a V/V (5 over 5) which would briefly feel like a key change to the 5 is coming, but then slide back into the original. Regardless, I love the sound and the song. Agree, it is definitely an old school gospel song feel to it. Just needs a little Hammond B3 with the Leslie spinning in the background!
