- Today we gonna see another epic duel, but this time it's not about troop vs troop but this time it's spell vs spell. Well technically we still need troop to test the spell but we'll talk more about the spell. Today star is Rage Spell and Clone Spell. Which one is better spell? Let's see.
Rage spell is the most common spell that can be used in literally thousands way since it can boost any troop even healer to push their limit and deal more damage. It can increase troops damage and speed massively so it's very good spell especially for a fast pace player. It need 2 housing space so you can carry 5 rage spell. Overall, very good spell.
Clone spell is more unique spell that can create doppelganger for your troops for a certain period of time. This clone is as strong as the original troop so it's very useful for cloning tanker and big troops such as golem, pekka, and electro dragon. But at its max level, clone spell can only clone troop up to 33 housing space worth of troops so you better use it wisely since it took 3 housing space to carry clone spell. In total, we can only carry 3 clone spell so the remaining housing space can be allocated for rage spell or any other spell. Unlike rage spell, clone spell will not work for any troop exceed its capacity and heroes (imagine cloning heroes).

They’re both useful and unique in their own ways. Rage and an additional 1 housing spell can be just as effective, if not more than a clone. Typically, I carry Rage and Freeze/Invisi, which is incredibly useful. It also depends on the army composition too. Cloning a single Edrag (Edrag-Loon) may not be as optimal as cloning multiple balloons (Lavaloon) which is personally a much better trade off. Overall, it’s really up to the person, I wouldn’t say its fair here because the housing space is different and they’re two different functions: one is a direct support for ALL troops (including heroes, excluding sieges) but clones only affect the barrack troops.
Clone spell is fun to use but i have never seen attacking my village with Clone spell and it cost 3 housing space.

I would go for rage spell cuz of housing space, if i carry 3 rage spells, i can use 3 times for troops in any corner of base while clone spell can only be used once for 3 housing space

Today's event attacking base given from supercell that has about 28 heroes level 1, 14 barking and 14 arqueen.
So basically, the troop and spell that was given as challange really make me think that clone spell actually have a really big different if we can change it to other spell. That clone with rage really make the base fell much easier.
I love rage spell, but rage and clone spell will be interesting when it combines together👏

Rage spell is good for instant damage, but clone spell is for more specific situations.
Example: Play a siege machine to get to the center of the village, full of balloons, and when you get there, clone everything. It's more for medium term damage.
Both of em have completely different uses. The rage gives a boost to the troop's stats, and the clone is basically giving you more (extra) troops. So, comparing them is like comparing the lightening spell to the heal spell; both are crucial. Depending on your strategy, you can use whatever combo. I usually prefer 2 clones and 2 rages.

About the wall both troops didn't destroy all of it which was the reason why it draw
In other words it’s better to use a rage spell when it’s a defense that’s multi-target or if it has splash damage
The clone spell is best used for defenses that don’t multi-target or have splash. It’s just the matter on using it on the right things and the right time. Otherwise they can definitely go together pretty well
Cons: Clone spell has 3 spell capacity and smaller radius, pros is that it can deal more damage. Rage spell has lager radius but if you use on a lot of troops can be very effective. So in my opinion I say they are equal (tie)

but at 1:20 clone spell wallbreakers destroyed more walls. The test is rated off of who has the most surviving or who destroys the most buildings. Sooo.... Edit: ik speed is a consideration, but in this case it seems like the greater amount of destruction would overrule speed as it did in other cases in the video. Cool video.

Clone spell is more of a situational choice. For example, dropping a battle blimp in the core of a base with an edrag or some balloons. Clone (with a rage spell optionally) would work perfectly. However, rage is still suitable for almost any purpose for any army and has no demands of that sophisticated usage.

What do you use to do these tests? Also I know the spell says on it that it can only clone as many as it's housing space but I don't understand that...
Is there only a certain amount of troops I should put down to take most effectiveness of the spell?
At the moment I'm just using valk and wizards, so what would be the optimal amount of troops to use?
(I've just upgraded to TH10) and I saw in this vid the cloned troops are almost transparent, do they disappear after a short time?
Gonna be honest when it comes to surprise factor being taken out of it...the clone spell is better for larger hit point troops from giants to pekkas and so on. However if we are after consistent over all results, even if it doesn’t support the bigger troops as much, I would have to say rage spell would be more consistent.
It’s not so much which one is better, but which one is better for the situation you need.
The idea of bringing 3 clone spells and 1 rage to blast through in wars with any troop is possibly one of the best looking combos I have ever seen however.

Rage, because what's not considered is that there is NOT a maximum troop limit for the rage, where there is for the clone. The clone is cloning a single pekka or so for example, while the rage is boosting probably half of the entire army through the base for 2/3 of the cost in housing space.
Each spell has their own good purposes they all have good and bads and are needed for a reason

The way I kinda see it is rage troops that don't have damage effects when they die and clone troops that have damage effects like elec drag golems
they're good rivals but perfect together, combined with the warden ability
also maybe along with some valks
Both are good at their works and can do a lot if used together efficiently
Clone depends, example cloning balloons can end up destorying a whole part of defense, but when there is multi inferno it gets destoried
I think they're both only good when combined with a specific combo so its hard to say which is better but I think they're strong as hell when you use both

Another thing to consider 2 clone spells can clone 2 electro dragons but 3 rage can rage many electro for the same housing space. Ie 10 e drags on 1 rage can do more damage than 10 e drags with 1 clone because the clone is only akin to adding 1 e drag where the rage is afffecting all the e drags
But one eagle artillery would wipe out 5 electro at once if you manage to rage 10 electro with a rage.
The best combo is a rage, double clone, invis, heal altogether on a P.E.K.K.A, making it god against ground, for air perhaps electro dragon

Basically rage spell is 3 or 2 times damage and the clone spell is basically 2x HP and 2x damage.

My favorite is rage spell just from the results of this video. I don’t actually have the clone spell unlocked yet though.
