It’s heartbreaking, but Robin Williams often used humor to cope with his struggles. Behind the laughs, he was dealing with depression and, as we later learned, Lewy body dementia, which causes severe mood changes, confusion, and hallucinations. The “sad clown” paradox really applies here-someone who could make the whole world laugh was privately suffering. Rest in peace, kind sir. ❤

Have lasted a lot longer than age 63. He would have been 75 this year.
His real issues were not his health rather his wife who had two children not fathered by Robin..they were fathered by a hispanic.and Robin raised them in spite..how can you not notice the dissention between his first son and Marsha's two kids

Robin Williams was a gem ! I’m Australian & I think we all know he nailed them all . He packed more into his life & ours than any of us could imagine .
He was facing LB dementia the cruelest of cruel diseases, although I cried at losing him I was glad the torture for him was over ❤❤❤❤
Well, there's always hope for a cure to this HORRIBLE disease, but he chose to end his life knowing his fans would miss him dearly. RIP Robin Williams😇

SAME. Back in the 1970s when I was a bartender for like 10 years. We wouldn’t let the band start playing until after Mork & Mindy show was over. None of the customers cared. They watched it. We all crowded around the bar and laughed. Those were great times.

The team that made the legend of zelda games actually made an npc based on him. The reason is that he was such a big zelda fan that he named one of his kids after the game. So the game team did that as their way of saying "thank you" and "goodbye" to him R.I.P. Robin Williams

It was over 50 years ago I first played a record recorded by an unknown comic and my parents rushed to front room because they thought I was hurt. What they found was their daughter rolling on the floor with tears on her cheeks. He never failed to elicit laughter. Good night sweet prince.
I got to do his make up for a photo shoot in the 80's and I swear he never ever stopped talking and joking for hours on end. He was always always cracking me and the whole crew up and my sister did his makeup in Paris in the 90's and he did the same exact thing.
In the midst of suffering he gave us joy till he could not any longer. He entertained sick children. He never stopped giving. ❤I miss just knowing he is in the world. So much joy left when he needed to rest. I still love you Robin....from Mork till forever. 😔 ❤😢😔

There will never be another guy in the world that will ever fill Robin Williams shoes. He was so unique and his comic humour was unbelievable and so quick. It was a very very sad day it was announced on tv that Robin had died, so suddenly and without any warning as such. The world lost an amazing and comic, genuine, hilarious, individual that sad day .. even in films, he could be funny, and serious at the same time. Sadly missed big time. 😢😢😢😢
The really sad part about Robin Williams is that he died by suicide. After all he did for others, he couldn't live with what ever was happening to him. So he "KILLS HIMSELF!"

I was a therapist when Robin died and I talked about it with every client for two weeks.
That clip with Helen showed how quick and talented he was and not just as a comic but as a actor also. Another great clip was the Oscars one with Jack where he owned that stage, unfortunately they didn't show it all. This was a great compilation of his hits but you would probably need about 4 hours or more to see them all. A comic genius and great actor who left us to soon. RIP Robin

Robin Williams was a special character. Good heart, a very special kind of talent. Practically grew up watching Mork and Mindy, Family Ties, Seinfeld, all special special shows to me.

Humor and Jokes are meant to allow mockery, and people in public positions should be allowed to be mocked. This is because they put themselves into that position......it is the same with Religions and other aspects......should we only allow mockery on Christianity but avoid mockery of Islam because of fear?
