I personally don't mind them being monochromatic, but that's just preference. I could totally see there being designs that would benifit from having 2 or more colors.
Well shoes are a product which benefit from being lightweight, just like gaming mice; so 250$ for 50 grams of a functional shoe is not as bad as you try to frame it...
This is an Amazing idea. The only problem I have with them is that they are so expensive. An average low of 250 dollars for a pair of 3D-Printed shoes that are recyclable which is a really cool concept and everything but like that price tag will need to change eventually. The material can't be that expensive. Still though it's an amazing idea.
Well you don't actually pay only for the material, you also pay for all the R&D that went for it, such as the scanning process, and also the printing, making them comfy and all
@@RunItBackGunzI think he means if they could do measurements of your entire foot the sides the upper. And I would 100 agree with him. I have a foot injury and the upper is super important to me and I think it’s something that’s overlooked a lot of the time.
@@tjaulak4549 well you'll need the right tools for that and idk if there's any atm. i know that apple has 3d laser scanning sensor in their camera but idk how effective they are for the job
@@Internet_Pirat Thank you for calling me out hehe. I still have them and wear them for when I'm going to be on my feet for an extended time. My wife is not a fan of the bright blue, so I mainly wear them when out in the garden, or I need comfort and she's not around to hate on them.
When did you scan your foot? I am looking, and it just has customisable options for width, etc. I really want to order a pair but am worried about fit if it's selecting a size
Yes, when you order you put in your fit preferences, and then you get a link to scan your feet when they are ready for printing. So you get an email after a while. Just got my pair and I love them!
@@thomasronald3848 I have received a pair of Nami's from Finn Rush-Taylor Studio, and have the MLLN Protas on the way. I'm also doing my own shoe with them, so I'm all in on 3D printed footwear!
@Nathaniel Lie, it was between the Nami's and infinity for me. I also like the lotus 1 apart from lotus down the front. How do you get involved with designing your own? That would be amazing
Soooo, they removed the factory manufacturing process and the need to pay human workers, they don't have any waste product left over to throw away and yet their still gonna charge up to and above 300$ for these 😮😮?? This will be better when it evolves and gets cheaper. The ability to print a pair myself, from home, sounds promising.
Finally a reasonable comment. These are so trash… I hope this is not the future. Plus more people are into Jordan’s and Nikes and normal shoes. That’s not going away. We don’t wanna look like some freak elves wearing fluorescent blue wedges like we’re in some video game.
still like the traditional shoes with it's shoe lace and style. This futuristic shoes aren't my type. Best are Yeezy's 350 v2, Nike Jordans, and New Balance those sneakers are unbeatable.
Cost is the problem for me. I would rather want to lease the design from the creator and use it at a local university or college to get it made for a personal pair
this is amazing. i just wish they were more affordable and you could customize them a bit so they're not just one solid color
I personally don't mind them being monochromatic, but that's just preference. I could totally see there being designs that would benifit from having 2 or more colors.
3d printing is getting more affordable and better
Perhaps the monochrome is tied to the brand identity? At the moment🤷♂️
Yea it is weird that it is so expensive since 3d print filament isnt expensive at all
@@rickyneeter69 it’s probably cause their aiming towards a hypebeast community and for it to be perceived as a luxury product when it actually isn’t

So cool. Would definitely rock these but the price is steep
Thanks for this! Been thinking about what I wanted to get myself for my birthday today and this seems highly fitting!
biggest benefit of the 3d printing should be printing for ur exact foot , they are focusing on the wrong thing
How if Yu scan Yu foot for your size ???

Love the idea and the freedom that this company is going to allow for designers, but definitely curious how long these last.
probably 1-5 years before they decompose

SOOOO COOOOLLL!!!! What app did you have to use to scan your feet for them ?
Love the vids man and thos are cool
Been following these sneakers for a while and was waiting for you to cover them! You told me so much more than I knew so thanks for this Elliot!
"scan my feet" yeah, that's exactly the same as telling them what size you use.
Hi. Do they consider the thickness of the socks when scanning your foot for the sizing?
I am on the fence.. I am hoping to win one of the raffles for the Air Jordan 4 x SB, but I am really liking these!! I am in IT and these are unique.
They just want to collect feet pics and resell them fr fr
I bet Dan Schneider is the one who made the brand
They look comfortable 🔥🔥
What are those black cargos you wear bro? They're fresh I want some 😁
Overpriced slipper. Not the future at all, just another gimmick shoe thinking they’ll sell out like Foam runners, this is a nurse clog.
Amen
This is reaallly good… let’s not say “it’s the future” though. I feel like we’ll jinx it. Let it develop naturally instead of becoming a trend.
There making Bands with feetfinder.
All that plug and didn't link em?
Fire idea but way too expensive.
This guy looks like Chuck Taylor! (The news anchor from the Chappelle show) 😂😂😂😂
Guys what is the app bruh
I'd cop if they were $100 ... They fire tho

Cant wait you to look at some SCRY shoes man

What about arch supports?
Foam runners>
