Set your ASTC textures to Hardware decoding mode not software ! software Decoding uses CPU rendering & Hardware decoding uses GPU ! After i did this there has been no lag of any sorts be it any update!This works only if your GPU supports hardware decoding if your GPU does not support hardware decoding then you can simply disable it , game won't get laggy if you disable it but some graphics would have screen tearing issues which is ok to play with.
