With 40K+ on my DWS's, I can say overall this is the best of ultra high performance all season category. i know this is a old video but you made a mistake when annpuncing the rankings on the paet foe the 12-0 mph braking. You noted the DWS 06 was in second place when it was actually in 3 place.
Like many questions in the world of tires, there isn’t a definite yes or no answer. It depends on the weather and your expectations. While the Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 has earned a reputation for being a good winter performer within the Ultra High Performance All-Season category, like all all-season tires, it delivers a compromised balance of performance. In general, UHPAS tires sacrifice snow traction in exchange for dry and wet performance, even when compared to most quality Touring All-Season tires. Ice will be a real challenge, as well. If you expect to encounter snowy and/or icy conditions regularly during the winter, we would strongly recommend a dedicated winter tire for your RWD sports car. If snow is light in your area, or if roads are plowed quickly (or you have the option to stay home), the ExtremeContact DWS 06 would likely get you through winter.
If you have RWD that's a BIG BIG difference to any vehicle that has FWD or even AWD for that matter. That all being said, you would do yourself a disservice going with anything less then a dedicated winter tire for a RWD vehicle. Especially, if this is the only vehicle you are driving daily.
If you live in a snowy part of Canada, shouldn't you be using a dedicated winter tire. This is SoCal tire for those who may need snow handling for mountain passes (with AWD) or live the SE or SW U.S. where in doesn't snow much but when it does, you want something that won't get stuck. In other words, this is for people who see the occasional snow but don't drive in situations where parts of the year aren't dominated by snow.

As you can see, the stopping distance is in a different league than the four UHPAS tires in this video.
