When I saw this cute boy, I thought of “Dusty” for a name. He is going to be a big boy! The size of his paws makes me think that. So glad you found him in the pool area. Why do such pools become abandoned? What a waste. I wonder what they were used for. If no longer in use, those things should be bulldozed. They shouldn’t be left like that. Too dangerous for people or animals. So glad you found this cutie. He would have died in that abandoned pool otherwise. Horrific!

Sometimes the pups are skittish, but most often they seem so grateful for another living being that they seem to instantly warm to the rescuer with gratitude. What must that be like, to feel such hopelessness and then suddenly a savior arrives with warmth and food and love.

The place where you found him looks like it was a pretty nice place at one time but it was very lucky that this puppy really didn't get killed or hurt falling into that old pool.

You are a hero like God and Jesus they saved my life not too long ago so I was at this river today and then I slipped and fell down the deep part of the river and God saved me cause when I said in my mind I said "this is it I lose the person's I I love and a miracle happened I foat on top of the water then I hold on a branch then a lifeguard and my aunt helped me my mom heart dropped she told me if I drown she will come with me
I never understand why did ppl abandon to their pets? They are our best friends. People are horrible.

The Puppy was probably placed there on purpose to make a nice video. No chance that he jumped into this deep pool by himself.
And there were no "small holes in the corners" either.
