Too bad it’s been overtaken by homeless. Such a beautiful and historic piece of LA and you can’t go 20 steps without seeing drug paraphernalia on the floor. If the city cleaned up that area it would be one of the most desirable areas to live in LA

You can do better. You left the Latino (Central American) history out (Yes, we do exist) and reduced it to crime, etc. Make a part 2. There’s a bronze statue of Saint Romero honoring the largest Salvadoran community in the United States and a monument in honor of peace accords that put an end to a 12 year civil war In El Salvador.

ESK - while o only have three minutes to fit over 100 years of history & development into each of these videos that I produce for free on my spare time away from my full-time job and family, I can do better. I will take note and include your insight when I start generating revenue and have time to compile more robust episodes that have more than the three minutes I’m allotted on the TikTok software. Respect and appreciate your comments. Thank you!

@@lainaminute I appreciate that, brother. I do follow your channel and look forward to your videos on LA history. I guess it rubbed me the wrong way when I just heard that brief description during the 1980s and as a Salvadoran American from Pico Unión, I felt the way a Puerto Rican may feel a strong connection with the Bronx, or a Mexican American with East LA. You always bring valuable material and I do appreciate your response. Much love.
