I actually went back to university at 23 in order to teach English in Korea so a lot of my classmates were like 17-18 so I understand how you feel. I remember the first time I worked, there was a guy 4 years younger than me, he was so competent that I was ashamed, he already had his master degree while I was in 2nd year. It hurted my ego to be someone's second, my pride was on the line, so this same pride was what gave me strength to undergo this torture even if I hated it.
