    You can apply for a permanent residency visa after being married for 3 years.
    Daniel just needed to stay married to Chihiro for 1.5 more years and he could have lived in Japan forever without being married or working.

    Dan, during all these years you have complained about everything and everyone so it doesn't matter where you are, even in Japan, you will complain about even the smallest thing you can complain about.
    Life is still a big shit even in the best country in the world (which doesn't exist) but you have to be more intelligent in your choices and what you are going to do because otherwise you will always be in shit and this is all because of women who only destroyed your life because of your choices.

    Your biggest issues are is you don't have any longterm goals or aren't will to stick with something when things get hard. And when you do have something you want, you end up getting bored and moving onto the next shiny thing. I hope you figure things out but I don't see things changing

    For everybody here, it's never too late to get your life together.

    • @yuki2413
      @yuki2413 7 месяцев назад

      @@HidingInMyRoom1989 Not all part of it is interesting. I remember the first time I worked, there was a guy 4 years younger than me, he was so competent that I was ashamed, he already had his master degree while I was in 2nd year. I refused to lose to someone younger than me so I dedicated the 1 hour I spent in public transportation to study almost every day, even if it was boring.
      It hurted my ego to be someone's second, my pride was on the line, so this same pride was what gave me strength to undergo this torture even if I hated it. After 2 years I can say with confidence that I surpassed him in the software development part, but he's still more competent than me in network management.
      Not for long..
      One thing that motivates me as well is that I pretend to be much more competent than I am, so it incites me to work hard. I like to talk as if I am already a specialist who knows his stuff, it makes me believe it's possible.

When you first try to live in japan you fantasize about a young japanese gf and a nice comfortable home life so you can run off to akiharba or other nerdy places with cool games, anime and tech then come home to japanese meal and cereal. But now i managed my expectations and im more open to gaijins because shared interests. Perhaps we'll make a one off content together if we ever run into each other in japan, i have cooler ideas than sneaking a love doll out of an air bnb even though that was gold.

It is then quite easy to understand why it's baffling to you that other people manage to accomplish similar goals without seemingly struggling too much to accomplish said goals. OR if you really want to live in Japan, get your Bachelor's degree. Isn't university in the UK paid for by the government? What is stopping you?i just don't think you should be putting Japan on a pedestal with all their recent 1940s war crime history. Modern Japan has completely rebranded itself but you can't be dismissive of the past either. Can you imagine someone going on and on about how trendy and cool Germany is? Psychologically this is very telling. If you really want to make the right choices in life, you must elicit your own values. Get a pen and paper and there are RUclips videos that will help you. With this, find out your top Is values. especially your top five and write them down. Then you will truly know who you are inside. And you can make better decisions that will improve your life. It is helped me.
