So far I really like the main chara, he's a very interesting combination of subtle bad-ass, smart & kind but also 'clueless' in some areas and so far it makes total sense considering how he grew up & his modern-day-knowledge. Like he totally knows by now how to handle the scheming attempts of people out to get him, but he seems like a clueless country-bumpkin in handling a prince due to his modern-day POV on equality (was also fun last time how he gave up on trying to explain equality to the servants realizing that they simply aren't allowed to live as equals in that society so it was easier for him to play the grumpy hermit XD)

The actor who play as fan shize and the actress as fan ruoruo is the main lead on drama "my heroic husband". The genre also same with joy of life, a comedy time traveler but the main focus is more about business until he get dragged into political situation. His character almost similiar with fan xian except he is not good for fighting, only use his wits n brain. It's also one of good drama.
The two brothers really look like they could be brothers! I am so happy to see them in the same show. They are two of my all-time favorite actors. This is a great series! Lots of twists and turns, lots of comedic parts, lots of action and I love that our main lead is so savy. Great series!!!

I saw this drama nearly two years ago and RUclips again posted the videos for me to watch. I remembered how sad the ending was but someone encouraged me and told me that there would be a second season. I therefore decided to watch the drama again and I cannot wait to watch the second season.
The female lead was like me when I was little. Trapped at home and couldn't eat crispy and fried foods because I was often sick and coughed like her. My parents were old-fashioned and thought the wind and cold made me cough. Also, no strenuous activity, but I loved to run.
