Where do they plan to dispose of the trash? What are the plans for sewage? The needs of the newcomers will not be content with what your town has to offer. Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, Starbucks.... will take over. Your small town will no longer be small. You will no longer be able to afford to live there. What is affordable housing? How long will it be affordable? If I buy for $100k and sold it in 5 years for $400k it would no longer be affordable for some. This is nothing new. The Fish Only See's the Bait, Never the Hook.
