It truly is amazing transportation. The singular problem is that they are not very compatible with cars which dominate the roads. This type of transportation is far safer than cars and I believe in time will replace them.
I managed to get one of the first Radium Mach 1’s made and it’s seriously the best board I own, crazy powerful, comfortable and handles like it’s on rails! Get on it!
Dylan Bell is one of those legit riders you can just watch for days. He’s so comfortable and connected to his boards it’s awesome. Like a racecar driver with loads of laps😂

i was sceptical about how videos were going to feel moving forward, but i have to say this felt exactly the way i expect and hope a Braille video would feel. Personalities of everybody there are on show, highlighting cool products and the people that genuinely love them, even the rough edges on the audio and the shakey camera (this isnt a dig, he doesnt have literally a decade of camera work like gabe did, he will improve with time and he's doing great) This feels sufficiently Braille and im hopeful for the future
I was one of the first people to buy one of Liam's motor mounts. It was still a prototype. Those things were bulletproof. To see the progression of Radium Esk8 is awesome. Great work Liam

there are many variety of electric skateboards in the market for different class riders. from average riders to pro esk8 riders, range between $300-$3k+. so many different esk8 companies out there that can work with anybody regardless of ranges of prices

Electric skating in general is dope (waiting for a selectable 2 or AWD model haha) but the price even for the cheapest half decent stuff from China is wildly expensive. Im sure with new battery tech in a few years that wont be the case but yeah, $1500+ unless you live somewhere you can do it year round to replace most of your commuting, and even then a bike makes more sense for that so you can carry more/haul etc. but eventually! Def cool tech and looks like a blast
I once had a aluminum board, it was pretty strong took alot of abuse, dented a small bit but man as a beginner at the time-10ish- it help me Ollie, it was light and easy to maneuver. I took it to the skateshop to regrip like 5 times before I got a world industries😂
I have a 45mph 2 in 1 longboard. It's on aluminum mags and rubber solid wheels it's absolutely sick. Mine is gear driven where this is belts. I would seriously not recommend it to anyone without downhill experience
@Livewild78 when you're going downhill to coast you want about 10 percent throttle. No throttle is regenerative breaking kind of feeling. I have bailed by doing a top speed run on flat and not respecting releasing the throttle. I've never exceeded its electric speed with gravity to see if that's possible. You can approach a steeper hill with confidence that you can slow down without a foot drag or slide.
Everything without a mechanic brake is just insanely nuts. Mine went 60 km/h but since I lost connection at this speed I never wanted to ride it again.
You guys should check out the raith vengeance, its a 4wd direct drive electric downhill longboard. 81mph top speed, would be fun to see how close to that you guys could take it
Aaron, you should hire an ex pro to take over gabe's old position. There's a lot of retired pros who just want to be able to work in the skate industry in whatever capacity. Just a thought.

they could script flipping tricks into the board with pistons [the counterweights, maybe even like a gyroscope and carbon fiber to make it lighter for it] creating electromagnetic fields so the rider sticks more but that their magnetism can be deactivated through the same controller as well for more stuff
That sounds pretty cool, some sort metal or magnet band that goes on your shoes and it sticks you to the board through the boards magnets so you still have maneuverability I wonder how strong they could get, don't know much about electro magnetism

how this thing deal in pure downhill? does it work in "free wheel" mode? what is behaviour in carving and sliding in turn at high speed?
