  • This track from my CD, "Oil and Water" features the voice of Moroccan singer, Yassir Chadly. In it he speaks Sufi sayings and proverbs. It was recorded just a couple of days after Sept 11th 2001, as my co-conspirator and producer, Simon Tassano, and I tried to come to terms with the world as it had become. You can also hear the voice of Eda Maxym, who features here on some of the other videos as well! The film is made by Ken Adams, an Austin based videographer and collaborator in my work from as far back as Alien Dreamtime, with Terence McKenna and Spacetime Continuum and Ken's own company of that time - Rose X.

    nice tune.
shame you ripped off the name: Baraka (from the movie).... - unless of course your intention is to get people to stumble on the movie while searching for your song title... (in that case its an excellent idea).

"Oil and Water", still one of the BEST CD's Ever. I have yet to hear, even in my recordings, a better incorporation of the Didgeridoo in music. Great video with this song. Who did it?
