I started to make theory videos for fun and I really enjoyed making them and reading people's opinions about these... But the channel grew a lot since the last theory video i made (with almost 5k subs) and I am feeling a very big preasure making this video... because i feel like a lot of people are looking for this and I really don't want to dissapoint. So that's why I decided to work more on it and to think better about all the details I could put together. I am very sorry if you didnt find in this video all the details you're looking for. Pirate Au and I was thinking of having your video as a final explanation for those who don't understand it at the end of the book. Thank you for making such a well thought out and planned video!

i can also include this: personally i think there is gonna be one more album in the treasure series, which is gonna be the last. and its name probably is gonna be 'answer to all', because like, 'all to zero', 'zero to one', 'one to all', 'all to action', 'action to answer', 'answer to all'? however, it may be a prologue, so it completes the series? so it will have prologue, ep. 1, ep. 2, ep. 3, ep. final, and epilogue? and it will explain absolutely everything to us, it will answer all of our questions, it will be denouement of the series? plus, in the 'behind the scenes' of the answer mv, hongjoong said that we will understand who is the guy in the white suit in the end of the mv in their next comeback, and in outro: long journey, hongjoong says: "did you find your dream? did you find your treasure? yes, we have finally found it... can you see the changes?... can you hear those voices?", and then an instrumental part starts to play, and exactly this part is included in the end of the answer mv, and exactly then we see that guy in white, which tells me, THAT THERE IS GONNA BE ONE MORE TREASURE ALBUM AND IM LITERALLY SCREAMING- ps: sorry for the long comment, i was just trying to explain myself lmao ps 2: THIS VIDEO IS AMAZING, THE THEORY LITERALLY KILLED ME AND IM SCREAMING EVEN MORE NOW HELP-
I have a feeling that the treasure era will never be quite finish (at least for a long time). Just seeing the man in white at the end of the music video makes me think that the next comeback will be a Segway to their next era. Although Hongjoong did say that we were gonna find out who the white man is in their next comeback, we don’t know wether the man is good or bad. The man in white might just be another problem on their hands (because in the Answer MV it looks as if he might have stopped the party or smth). Or the man could be their solutions and the treasure era would end after that (which I wish it doesn’t). But I guess we’ll wait and see...

If I saw correctly, it was Seonghwa's glass (that was the only one not empty), whereas like you said, the others had their glasses empty.🤔🤔🤔 I had really not seen that until you mentioned it. Wow 😳🧐

Seonghwa is the only one that has a drink in his glass. As i pointed in the video, he tried to take the lead of the crew so i think he might not be very happy with the final decision. But we will see more details in the next MVs.

Sorry about my grammar and I'm just sharing my thoughts) Okay when you explained the treasure era I'm also thinking that it would make sense if it was Mingi (just a theory) or Wooyoung (at first) is actually the villain of the series. Because at the end of the MV i just feel something is off on why the white masked guy ruins the treaty or agreement ( AKA the toast/cheers in the music video) which made me question what is the real reason why someone doesn't agree. I also think they have something to own but one person i think stole smthing which is the telescope (i think) that Jongho/Mingi was bringing. AND Answer reminds me to all the music videos they had (from Pirate king to Utopia). Like the broken glass (say my name), chandelier (illusion?), Dark egos (Hala Hala), desert (Pirate King and treasure) etc. And i felt something was going on between wooyoung, seonghwa and yeosang below the snow. Like they know something is going to happen. including Hongjoong in a compass (since he is the leader/Captain), Yunho looking at his reflection trying to find himself whether he is good or bad, Mingi in a boat holding a telescope, yeosang in the desert and found a broken mirror which symbolizes something, seonghwa and jongho who are covered with cloth within the surroundings and San and Wooyoung in the dining area with san looking sad at the dining area and wooyoung mesmerizing by the butterflies surrounding the dining area and dancing on the snow. (This is hella long as I imagine and im sorry if it is really confusing)
*I followed your theory videos from the very beginning and when i came here and watch this i'm literally being emotional at 5 am wtf* their story is pretty much that generic "love yourself for who you are" but is packaged in a really neat and creative symbolic visuals im wheezing. Not to mention those subtle details that add the dynamic in their story, making it even more relatable. Their creative team might notice the germ on my face the second they look at me for being this detailed asjaskjdka
(BEWARE: THIS IS REALLY LONG!!! ) I don't know if you guys notice something during "wave era", but it is something that caught my eye while I was watching "Wave". In Yunho's screen time, i notice there is something hanging in the rear view mirror of the car, which is called the "Ojo de dios" or "God's Eye". It is crafted in Mexico and it symbolizes something as I asked my Spanish teacher about the eye. It says that it symbolizes hope and protection. Some says that "The Huichol believed that crafting an object was a way to get in touch with the spiritual world for protection from the uncertainties of the future". The 4 points of the craft represents the 4 elements, earth, fire, air and water and the middle represents God's watchful eye and protection to people who made them or portal to the spirit world or the sun represents the power of seeing things or understanding things we normally don't see. What does it have to do with Yunho? I think he looks out on his members who protects/gives them hope. Like during wonderland who is looking on the televisions with no signals or no connections which is one of the reasons why he is flustered and disappointed. He wanted to know if someone betrayed the group. And the look that he used to San saying what have you done. I think he knows who is the white guy mask which is maybe the reason why he posted something on twitter few days ago about the protagonist.
This literally gave me CHILLS!! Like everything makes sense now!!! And ur points are so valid and actually make sense .. like it goes so well with everything. And when u said that Wooyoung wasn’t actually the bad guy, he actually saved them I BURSTED INTO TEARS... that’s what made stanning Ateez so much fun, because of all the mysteries.
So that’s why one choreo in Wonderland, the chorus after the dance break and at the left side was Mingi and Wooyoung because they have a connection omg. Please make an answer theory 😭 I also believe that San has a deeper role. In one of the comeback perf of Ateez was a video, members were wearing white and black outfits and at the opposite side of the tables. Then San is kneeling (his first position in the choreo of answer) on the table surrounded by 8 wine glasses. The subtitles mentioned questions whether you are good or evil.

I think that 'finding yourself, your identity, balance in life -> don't be to hard on yourself (adult) but still remember to treat yourself and have fun in live (child)' are the main points in Ateez concept. I think the new villain is Yunho. Why? If you see in Ateez "Answers" choreography, you can see wooyoung try to shoot Yunho, and in the choreography Yunho being a center many times, it mean he wants to take a lead of Ateez. Also, on Seonghwa part, Yunho try to close Seonghwa eyes.
I am a new Atiny and only looked briefly into the background story of the Treasure Era. But my god there is so much more to it than I thought! I really really loved the video! everything was so well explained - both visually and via text. I would have liked more actual lines from the songs, but now I will look into them on my own while looking at all the little details I know about now! I think this storyline is very beautiful, I love the foreshadowing to future songs, the plottwist of wooyoung not actually being the villain and how they found their real selves by not giving up either sides of themself. Both music and musicvideos underline this so incredibly well, I am just shook right now. Thank you so much for making this video, I really really enjoyed it. I'm so confused after watching Answer. The song looks like a flashback before both Ateez fight which caused the mess in the room. And I think the moon wearing white has been escaped from Utopia( cause he's wearing white like them and there a 9th seat in the song) he even took that Jongho's thing from Illusion that Mingi was holding in Answer before the fight. OMG! Answer made me so excited!!
This entire time... me suspecting the villain to be wooyoung... but in truth he was their savior.... you... you have me goosebumps all over. I lovethis, and my theory fits so perfectly with yours(you filled in most of it) that I'm completely mind blown..... Now tomorrow, I'm going to draw a treasure box and write the quote "Because what treasure is greater in this world than finding yourself" and slap it somewhere where I will see it every day.... Thank you, and thank God for ateez. This jsut... that quote just pushed me to work towards the goal of loving myself... I first tried with bts love yourself ... it failed... but this? doesnt really help much to the theory but something i noticed is that in the illusion mv is that the paradise/island shown in the background as they dance sort of hints at a alice in wonderland theme due to human sized mushrooms and flowers. this could be seen as a hint towards the next comeback (wonderland) as well as showing that dark ateez is still with them, lurking in the background. additionally i think it could also mean that this place they perceive as a paradise isnt truly all they believe it is and eventually, with the rise of dark ateez, becomes the setting of wonderland. within wonderland its self i noticed a few things that reminded me of alice in wonderland such as the clock hongjoong stands on and the colours of white and red around him at the start of the mv makes me associate him with the white rabbit. jongho seems so represent the cheshire cat as his shirt clearly shows a purple cat smiling as well as his lines, which are shared with san, (going off translation) include them saying that they cant stop and have to continue because they cant turn back which reminds me of how alice asks for direction from the cheshire cat. lastly sans scene looks similar to that of the scene where alice gets lost in the woods, being surrounded by darkness which would point to him being alice, which makes sense as to why both him and jongho have lines regarding their progression/direction. the other members dont have such clear representations to me apart from wooyoung maybe being the jabberwocky and seonghwa being either the red queen or her cards but idk. i could easily be looking too much into it and maybe by wonderland they are referring to a literal land of wonder/their treasure, eg utopia, or a general place that is without the rules and constrictions of reality.

I also have a theory: It follows the same premise about the alters. Except without Mingi or Yeosang (They don't really matter as much in this theory.) So as we know wooyoung did not kill his alter ego. He found something. He could not bear to kill a part of himself and so he didn't. The alters somehow, still alive (or perhaps the white man) put ateez in an illusion. But alter Wooyoung guides them out. As shown in wave everyone woke up except Woo. Skip to answer and as one comment stated Pirates used to drink to signify sharing the treasure. Here they didn't pouson the alters they just found a middle ground. The treasure that is themselve, they share for control. So in the end the antagonist was and was not themselves.
How about the dude in the last scene of Answer MV? That person wore all white and sharp accessories, walking in the dark and ash? room of Dark And Real Ateez's toasting room.

Like the broken glass (say my name), chandelier (illusion?), Dark egos (Hala Hala), desert (Pirate King and treasure) etc. And i felt something was going on between wooyoung, seonghwa and yeosang below the snow. Like they know something is going to happen. including Hongjoong in a compass (since he is the leader/Captain), Yunho looking at his reflection trying to find himself whether he is good or bad, Mingi in a boat holding a telescope, yeosang in the desert and found a broken mirror which symbolizes something, seonghwa and jongho who are covered with cloth within the surroundings and San and Wooyoung in the dining area with san looking sad at the dining area and wooyoung mesmerizing by the butterflies surrounding the dining area and dancing on the snow.
(This is hella long as I imagine and im sorry if it is really confusing)

I don't know if you guys notice something during "wave era", but it is something that caught my eye while I was watching "Wave". In Yunho's screen time, i notice there is something hanging in the rear view mirror of the car, which is called the "Ojo de dios" or "God's Eye". It is crafted in Mexico and it symbolizes something as I asked my Spanish teacher about the eye. It says that it symbolizes hope and protection. Some says that "The Huichol believed that crafting an object was a way to get in touch with the spiritual world for protection from the uncertainties of the future". The 4 points of the craft represents the 4 elements, earth, fire, air and water and the middle represents God's watchful eye and protection to people who made them or portal to the spirit world or the sun represents the power of seeing things or understanding things we normally don't see.
What does it have to do with Yunho?
I think he looks out on his members who protects/gives them hope. Like during wonderland who is looking on the televisions with no signals or no connections which is one of the reasons why he is flustered and disappointed. He wanted to know if someone betrayed the group. And the look that he used to San saying what have you done. I think he knows who is the white guy mask which is maybe the reason why he posted something on twitter few days ago about the protagonist.

Please make an answer theory 😭 I also believe that San has a deeper role. In one of the comeback perf of Ateez was a video, members were wearing white and black outfits and at the opposite side of the tables. Then San is kneeling (his first position in the choreo of answer) on the table surrounded by 8 wine glasses. The subtitles mentioned questions whether you are good or evil.

I think the new villain is Yunho. Why? If you see in Ateez "Answers" choreography, you can see wooyoung try to shoot Yunho, and in the choreography Yunho being a center many times, it mean he wants to take a lead of Ateez. Also, on Seonghwa part, Yunho try to close Seonghwa eyes.
I am a new Atiny and only looked briefly into the background story of the Treasure Era. But my god there is so much more to it than I thought!
I really really loved the video! everything was so well explained - both visually and via text. I would have liked more actual lines from the songs, but now I will look into them on my own while looking at all the little details I know about now!
I think this storyline is very beautiful, I love the foreshadowing to future songs, the plottwist of wooyoung not actually being the villain and how they found their real selves by not giving up either sides of themself. Both music and musicvideos underline this so incredibly well, I am just shook right now.

I'm so confused after watching Answer. The song looks like a flashback before both Ateez fight which caused the mess in the room. And I think the moon wearing white has been escaped from Utopia( cause he's wearing white like them and there a 9th seat in the song) he even took that Jongho's thing from Illusion that Mingi was holding in Answer before the fight. doesnt really help much to the theory but something i noticed is that in the illusion mv is that the paradise/island shown in the background as they dance sort of hints at a alice in wonderland theme due to human sized mushrooms and flowers. this could be seen as a hint towards the next comeback (wonderland) as well as showing that dark ateez is still with them, lurking in the background. additionally i think it could also mean that this place they perceive as a paradise isnt truly all they believe it is and eventually, with the rise of dark ateez, becomes the setting of wonderland.
within wonderland its self i noticed a few things that reminded me of alice in wonderland such as the clock hongjoong stands on and the colours of white and red around him at the start of the mv makes me associate him with the white rabbit. jongho seems so represent the cheshire cat as his shirt clearly shows a purple cat smiling as well as his lines, which are shared with san, (going off translation) include them saying that they cant stop and have to continue because they cant turn back which reminds me of how alice asks for direction from the cheshire cat. lastly sans scene looks similar to that of the scene where alice gets lost in the woods, being surrounded by darkness which would point to him being alice, which makes sense as to why both him and jongho have lines regarding their progression/direction.
the other members dont have such clear representations to me apart from wooyoung maybe being the jabberwocky and seonghwa being either the red queen or her cards but idk.
i could easily be looking too much into it and maybe by wonderland they are referring to a literal land of wonder/their treasure, eg utopia, or a general place that is without the rules and constrictions of reality.
So, my questions for now are who's the man behind these fights and is Aurora have anything to do with the Treasure era.

This video blew my mind over 8 times to be exact
I also have a theory:
It follows the same premise about the alters. Except without Mingi or Yeosang (They don't really matter as much in this theory.)
So as we know wooyoung did not kill his alter ego. He found something. He could not bear to kill a part of himself and so he didn't. The alters somehow, still alive (or perhaps the white man) put ateez in an illusion.
But alter Wooyoung guides them out. As shown in wave everyone woke up except Woo. Skip to answer and as one comment stated Pirates used to drink to signify sharing the treasure. Here they didn't pouson the alters they just found a middle ground. The treasure that is themselve, they share for control.
So in the end the antagonist was and was not themselves.
My Mom hated K-Pop than I showed her this and explained her everything (she can't speak English) and now she is a big fan of them :)
How about the dude in the last scene of Answer MV? That person wore all white and sharp accessories, walking in the dark and ash? room of Dark And Real Ateez's toasting room.
