This conference opened the eyes of many of us at the same time confirming the love and unity of Baha'is which were already so important a part of our lives. How many of us went pioneering to towns and villages all over the world after attending this conference! What an explosion of teaching activity there was! I think the spirit of that conference still flows in my veins after so many years ago. Thanks for showing this video.
Thank you, Craig! For me, and many of my friends, this was a life-changing experience. It's hard to believe that next year will be the fiftieth anniversary of this event. :-) Kurt Hein
Thanks Greg. This is an important document for so many reasons, and I am glad to have access to these files. The recent release of Light to the World made me so much about George Stoney's efforts in 1969 and what we have learned about communicating with film. Looking forward to continued conversations.
I wonder how many of the young people in this film were still believers 5 or 10 years later. In my experience as a Baha'i youth in the 70s, most of those who joined the faith around the same time I did had become disillusioned and left it within that 5 to 10 year time frame.
I don't know why the film lacked women's voices speaking the principles vs asking questions… but here's something else from the same period - www.newspapers.com/clip/34039302/bahais_observe_new_year_mrs_kenneth/

Sharing this again on social media as our global conferences awaken the spirit of investigation and sharing!

You're very welcome.
What a great jewel of a find.
"I couldn't understand something so simple and basic being true" What a statement! To think this is an impediment for many people. How profound.
Beauitful people of light of God
Thank you for sharing this! Incredible!

What a period piece! Interesting that women couldn't speak on behalf of their Faith at this time, eh?

The woman's voice that I remember best was that of Magdelene Carney who inspired us all.
Amir Kabir is coming for you.
