    8:16 Actually I'm pretty sure I heard that Treefingers was composed entirely out of guitars, through Ed playing loads of guitar loops and tons of effects.

      Yep! Many of the esoteric sounds on post Ok Computer songs are constructed by Ed and his guitar (and army of pedals).

    OK Computer made a generation of rock. Kid A made another generation of rock. In Rainbows made another generation of music itself since it's success is the sole reason why Bandcamp exists. Absolute legends.

    Thank you. Part two was intriguing. It captures you. I would love to hear Tom Waits do a cover of Motion Picture Soundtrack. I’ve have probably listened to this and Rain Dogs more than any other two albums. I don’t know what that says of me but hell, I still so enjoy them. I feel so lucky to live in a time where all these landmark records were created. And the past keeps revealing gems. I was a baby when The Beatles were finishing up their last two albums and Elton John was capturing my ear as a tot. I had gone through school, finally learning how to learn, getting a degree, learing at the future and my misdirection. What a great soundtrack for life, love, emotion and motion. It still feels like it was made for a future that hasn’t occurred. He drops lyrics that can just break my heart to music that brings out tears. An emotional chemical reaction. Keep up the interesting work.

    This was a really great video man, I really enjoyed it, especially after listening to the album beforehand. However, I think re-watching the video and fixing your errors would be super helpful, it’s boring to do, but there are some really easily fixed issues (voice over pacing, cuts, transitions, etc.) that are pretty distracting throughout. Apart from that, this video is super professional.

    • @TheMikenanners
      @TheMikenanners 4 года назад +1

      Yeah Thom even called Unravel from Homogenic his favourite song of all time, a song they later covered a couple of times. I also hear similarities to the song in Motion Picture Soundtrack, and the primitive yet timeless electronic elements of both albums overall show a clear inspiration. Though with her being a one of a kind genius and everything, its no surprise these elements struck a chord with Thom.
