This is a great place.. I grew up in Troy MI and we took our boat to Sarnia at least twice a summer. I love this part of the country even though I've been in Chicago forever and rarely get there. What blows my mind is how much water flows under that bridge (and how swiftly).. just a cool spot. Nice drone work!

Amazing! Thank you so much for this. I was born and raised in Port huron but now live in Texas and Mexico. This helps me when I'm homesick

Sadly, the Pere Marquette Railroad Bridge (1:20) was just demolished. The last of the scraps will be removed this week. I took a few pieces to preserve them. Thanks for the video.

It's so weird that the Chemical Bank sign was replaced with a tcf sign after this drone footage, and very soon the tcf sign is going to be replaced with a Huntington sign. I remember when that bank was Citizens Federal. There used to be a lot of beautiful 1880s-1910s architecture on that spot, with Citizens Federal in one of the neat old buildings. Then in the 1970s Citizens Federal bought up all the land to "modernize." They put up the white "Space Age" circular building. I personally think it's ugly from the outside. Then in the 1990s or early 2000s they changed to Citizens First. By 2010 or 11 they were bought by First Michigan, which reincorporated as Talmer within a short time. Then Chemical Bank bought it, then tcf, and now Huntington, all within about 10 years.
