Liproll is actually a inward sound and its pretty easy to learn tbh
I usually say that it's the easiest hard sound to learn (even if it took me nearly a year to have it clear)
There are many good tutorials on yt that are teaching you the sound if you want to learn it
(Its my favourite beatbox sound cause you can make it sound different if you just move your jaw or your lips)

@@immoral5091 yea you need the muscle to do liprolls and if you don't have that muscle you need to keep training. I also took about 6 months

Take it from someone who's seen him live.. He really isn't human, these videos don't do him justice, being there and hearing everything at full volume is out of this world.. Still blows my mind

Liproll is inward sound :) maybe try to learn it, and make a video of it. Many tutorials on yt. Antilt liproll tutorial helped me

10:07 It's all about the amout of practice you do everyday and your experience in general too you know. A bbxr with more than a decade of experience like Dlow can do all these sounds effortlessly and continuously for quite some time whereas on the other hand,a guy with 1.5 years of experience like me can do those bass stuff and other sounds for a few minutes before having a dry mouth

Bro you should react to D low's judge showcase from the International throwdown, in that video he throws some insane skills and techniques.
He is able to do both since the bass is with his throat and the scratch is only using his mouth

Actually D-low don't do many sounds that hurts, his inward bass hurts a little bit but it's not the worst, he don't do throat bass or chest bass, who both hurts a lot (what you do is a kind of chest bass i think). Then lipsroll don't hurts at all, his zipper (the very high sound) don't hurts, his outward bass it not the worst at all, maybe his high inward voice can hurt but it's only depending on the range of voice you have
Edit : what he does actually hurts a lot on the facial muscles because it's all super powerfull and the combos are pretty hard so you have to contract everything non stop
Nah bro liproll hurts like the jaw, napom once said in his livestream, if you constantly do liprolls or any other sounds it hurts, and here dlow did a 40 mins showcase, and same goes with inward bass it hurts too, but in this showcase he didn't much inward bass routines.
@@yashmaxwell1251 it only hurts if you go too far, napom is a different case because he have a small face so when he does lipsroll he pushes really hard on his jaw, beatness had a similar problem (before a show he did a bad lipsroll where he went too far and it have cut a tendon). And yes his inward bass hurts but still less than outward basses (according to remix, codfish and from my experience). The big difference is that I feel like the body accustoms better to outward pain than inward pain

If things hurt, it means you've either bad technique or haven't built up the muscles and everything else properly. Some of these guys will practice for 12 hours a day, preparing for big tournaments like GBB. Nearly any vocal technique they do is doable with proper technique, pain-free.
@@sunnyday6133 no actually the vocal things that hurts are mainly because it acts directly on the vocal chords, and you can't build muscle on the vocal chords

For the whole controversy thing, it's because before gbb den was a favorite for the wildcards but alem got the place instead of him, so sbx and alem received a huge shitstorm for this (like really, they had thousands of comments about it, alem even lost subscribers)
Wasn't it because Helium lost to Inertia? I mean, the wildcard things happened months before the GBB and the eliminations, solo battles etc. Why would people get suddenly mad at Alem and SBX cuz he got Den's place after months? Also Den got in for the eliminations. Or idk if you talking about the elimination places, but in that case it was Helium at the last place, so people should be mad at him in this case. Or people specifically wanted Den to get Alem's place?
@@peternagy-gyor506 helium inertia wasn't really super controversial, the problems they had live were with max because when he passed they had a lot of palestinians complaining, so this is the only controversy I can see
Then den had a place on the elims only because wawad couldn't come, so everybody though he would not compete at all until the last moment, and if you add every reactor saying he got robbed, doing videos complaining about it, so people never really calmed down. Plus they already had a controversy with zero on the kickback battle, where rythmind took his place, so they had 2 major controversies before the gbb.
And yes, alem did nothing wrong, but you know, people are stupid so I guess they believed it was his fault
