That actually sounds great. I feel like allowing and acceptance let's the problem go away in the long run. I used to have an eating disorder and I was taught to allow myself to eat whatever I wanted. I thought I would become so fat, but I finally took the plunge and guess what I'm 128lb/ 59kg I eat pizza ,cake, chocolate everything, but I never binge anymore. It's been 2 years since I recovered! Yes for allowing!!!!!
@DigitalRomanceInc I just met a girl a few weeks ago and we've been hitting it off really good. But she always encourages me to say what I want. It's something very new for me. It's not a bad thing, but I need help speaking my mind boldly, regularly and consistently to new people, especially women. How can I do this?
Trying to "fix" someone especially as we age doesn't really work unless it is a very small tweak or shift. I learned the hard way that it becomes a very nasty habit which I hope I can break the habit. Let people be who they are and if it doesn't work for you then move on to someone else especially if the person is not a husband or wife yet. It isn't fair to the other person to have to change something they either don't want to change or doesn't fit their personality.
To be honest, if i were that passive guy?, i would have dumped her out of my house and be done with it.. Less drame more silence and better focus on my work.
