The skillshot has the right hitbox, but all the champions have square invisible hitboxes, so if you hit a corner of that it still counts as hitting the champion. But this is an issue that has always existed with every skillshot. It's just clearer on the bigger skillshots or you notice it more on the impactful skillshots(like the blitz and thresh q's)
