Just because a player that gets hit hard is better doesnt mean more time served. Watch more hockey pal, 2 mins yes. Double minor MAYBE. 5 mins Absolutely not!
@@aGalacticHelldiver fell off is kind of an opinion too. 10 points in 13 games, not to mention I can guarantee he was battling injuries. Everyone and their trainer was trying to run Hughes and it paid off for them. Quinn knows as well as you and I if not better as to what happened and what he needs to improve on. I wouldn’t quite yet say top defencemen in the league either as a Canucks fan, but he’s got to be top 5 at this point. If not top 3
He’s not the best defensemen in the league. He had an outstanding regular season, but the first of that caliber. If he were to carry that same level into the playoffs I think he would then be in the conversation, but for now players like; Fox, Heiskenen and Makar, are at the top for me - all proven to be consistent in the regular season and playoffs for multiple seasons. Then again, I would not at all be surprised if Hughes has another amazing season, to cement himself in that conversation.
the vancouver canucks are good. next year, the vancouver canucks are going to be great.
That’s what they say about the Avs buddy.
Lol. Feels like the refs have something against the canucks. I mean, they didnt like Burrows.
Love your channel btw, Go Canucks Go.
they do
i’m not an expert by any means. But what I think happened is when the contact was initiated the player had the puck so that’s why it’s not a major.
I like how you said best defenceman in the league and I don’t doubt it!! But it really doesn’t matter what player it is the call will be the same
What about McDavids retaliatory play 2 games after he got folded like a lawn chair on accident?
It was a clean hit shouldn’t have even been 2. Also not even close to the best defenseman in the league, he’s top 5 at best
I'm a very valid canucks fan. I've been to over 45 games and im 13. My mom worked there for 14 years and i don't glaze as hard as you.
Makar is way better than Hughes
2 minutes for interference. There has been plenty of thise hits this playoffs with no calls so it makes sense

Salty
So what happened in the first round MR. JETS
Jets out in first round why are you still talking 😂
I'm blind, I'm deaf, I wanna be a ref
That was clean he just barely touched him
average kings fan
and the kings barely touched the playoffs
Average kings fan
The nucklehead guy loves to cry though
@@Matt-gt6be Bro he almost never crys or complains lol he always tries to find a way to justify the ref's calls
Bad hit and should be five but best defenseman in the league is an outrageous statement
“best defenseman in the league” is a stretch
One could say "agree to disagree."
He’s tied with makar in my opinion, so best defensemen in the league isn’t that far off
@@RUSH240 he just fell of during the playoffs but reg season, he was good

@@sacredalien8011 what I was trying to say is that the same thing happened with petterson, he dealt with an injury too
You mean worst
Definitely a minor, cry about it
No dude don’t cry about it, it’s all good.
If that was on Makar or Josi or Hedman then that would have been 5
