I mean, in Croatia only Croatian regional farmers use to sell vegetables like this. Roma only collect discarded metal from the dump site, or Croatian cities tell the citizens to deposit their old furniture and old electric equipment at special places in the summer, so the Roma scrabble in there and sometimes they find old weapons from the war and stuff...

In Croatia, they (no Roma) sell vegetables like that, potatos, paprika, carrots... praising their goods loudly... but not discarded metal

ahahahahha.. for me its cool... we dont have this situation in the USA!

in the US people put their stuff on the corner, if you pick it up before the garbage man its yours --- so on garbage day we have a guy in a bicycle that goes around and picks up all the metal cans, and couple of guys on trucks who pick up bigger stuff like furniture or appliances --- what pisses me off is that when somebody throws away a perfectly working TV the first thing people do is cut the cables I guess for the copper and break the TV

The funniest is in the fact that our Gypsies (that persons who visit my neighborhood) sound very funny in Serbian, as for example Indians with its strong emphasis on English :) Because they are very funny, is not a problem when they go early in my street, I always smile ...

And in some parts of Belgrade, you can expect the same situation like that, except more sophisticated, with vans and better pronunciation via the megaphone. xD
