- Yes this is a totally real thing and it happened to me! I got pregnant when I was already pregnant. I was 3 weeks into my pregnancy when I conceived again. It’s a extremely rare thing to happen and it’s called superfetation. Only 15 documented cases in the world EVER and we are one of them!
I’m Rebecca Roberts. My twins are called Noah and Rosalie, they are so wonderful . The twins are now 18 months old.

Twin mom here via IVF/FET…. One found at 5wks of one, 2nd found at 9wks…. They measured 3 weeks apart the entire pregnancy… Delivered both 4mins apart via C-section at 36+2, Baby A 7.6lbs… baby b 7.14lbs.
Thanks for sharing this story. I am a twin, born in 1953 and my sister was so small she had to go into a humidicrib. We are so different, infact opposite in every way. When our mum delivered me, 20mins later the staff said ‘wait there’s another one’. Everyone was shocked. I had always believed that we were conceived at different times but have never been able to find information of that happening. You have now confirmed my suspicions.

That happened to my mother in law a little different, she dropped one egg then 5-7 days later dropped another one.

How far along did you find out, was this at your anatomy scan?
Hi yea at my 12 week scan they noticed there was another baby. A few weeks later they realised the babies were conceived 3 weeks apart 🫣🫶

Did you feel any different when twin 2 was conceived?
Hi, no I had no idea. But looking back, my nausea was strong and my sense of smell was really strong too!
So its really not twins, but 2 pregnancies with siblings growing up in the uterus together.
Do you recall your implantation bleeding? Did you have it twice?
I don’t believe I had implantation bleeding. What I do remember though, I had what seemed to be a mucus plug which must’ve come away. And then I was able to get pregnant again
What was the drug you took? If you choose to share. I would like to know.

Hi, no I didn’t. I know some people do, but I’ve never had that in any of my pregnancies x
What was the fertility drug called, was it clomid? I’ve done 4 cycles of ivf so far
