Can you please fix the abysmal Hyper Backup Authentication Bonfire! I'm very close to just throw my 5 synology nases out and install servers running TrueNAS instead!

How do I get the backup function on the NAS itself?

The answer should have been "Hyper Backup", but that currently has a massive bug that won't allow you to authenticate. Therefor it's currently useless.

Would love to see this updated to include the Mac Client that's been released.

Would have been nice to see the Emergency Spin Up of a Server backed up via Hyper C2 Cloud.

You have said previously that the benefit of a NAS is being able to avoid having to use the cloud. Now we seem to be saying that we should not use Apple's iCloud but use yours. As a home user I'm slightly confused. Any comments please be?

Multiple locations. Backup. That's what they're saying

The 3-2-1 backup rule is a widely accepted best practice for data backup and restoration.
The "2" stands for: Use two different media types for storage.

Use something like (transfer)wise. It allows you to get the best currency conversion and has like a virtual credit card so you can pay them in usd
