Don´t u have to add weight till the brake abruptly stalls the motor, and only that last rpm-reading (just before stalling and reading 0rpm) is gonna be relevant (shortly before the motor abruptly stalls)??? By which way u get to measure the torque only for this single rpm. Then u have to repeat for different spring-preloads, and thus determine the torque for many different rpm. and out of all the measurements, u construct a torque/rpm-graph. I found it to be the worst prony-brake-explanation that can be... YT-wasted-time...
Thanks for your opinion, this video is made to provide an overview for the students from the exam point of view... If they want to know in detail and wanna calculate actual torque in that case practical classes are taken in their colleges...
The title of the video says how its used. It does not say how to plot the torque vs rev/min graph for a Dynamometer. And I found the video very informative and useful.
