I actually have a Bose system in my car and the Harman Kardon speaker in the house and I’m super pleased with both. I purchased the HK several years ago to take to my Zumba classes to play the music and it totally handled the assignment in large and larger spaces! When I play it in my townhouse, I feel like a top notch DJ!🔥🔥🔥

Go with onyx 7 for all the reasons you have mentioned. If you want portability as well then go for Bose revolve II. Would not suggest you to buy the Explore

Bass , loudness would go to the onyx, Bose has a more fuller sound

Haven’t tested 5 meters honestly, but the bass has a deep punch, and tends to rattle my house windows when playing at around 80% volume

Both of these speakers are great. If you want something portable go for the BOSE , if portability is not that important go for the Harmon kardon
