It’s not much so Father time. He had a micro in tear in his surgical repaired hip. It’ll keep getting worse if he keeps playing. Similar injury to Andy Murray’s but less severe.

Very hopeful thinking. I highly doubt he’d survive until 2025 RG just because of injuries, and he’s just getting old! It happens to every tennis player at some point. And Rafa’s foot injury that he’s had his whole life doesn’t help either. I reckon he’ll pack his bags after this years RG, but hopefully his last tournament will be at Paris.

His serve was fairly weak also, due to his injuries.
It takes time mate, be patient, he is champion, knows more than you, what to do.
It really wasn't his movement as opposed to being rusty in actual match play and making unusual errors.
at this level, movement is almost everything, 99%. Nadal himself dominated in clay back then also caused by his movement was phenomenal.

His movement is not as good as it was, so he can't rely on it anymore. He should be hitting this hard in matches, he would still have good results, maybe even better. Thats my opinion.
