Those devices were available I just didn't use them. I would even take time to close the trocar openings with suturing and cotton , and sealant sometimes bypassing trocar buttons which are known to leak gases! You are so good at what you do I know you make many families happy with the skill and expertise you have with your methods of care and preservation of the deceased!

I am curious how a body that is in an advanced state of decomposition is embalmed. With the tissues broken down to such an extreme, there must be a different process if embalming takes place at all and how do you keep the smell of death under control. Thanks Kari!
That was the case with my great uncle. We found him after he had been dead for 3 days. He kept his house at 80° so his body was still warm. And in an advanced state of decomposition. It was body bag only, sealed casket, the bed and other things in the bedroom had to ve burned, the mortician who came to remove him had to wear protective gear.

I was just curious what kind of income stream A/V Plugs would be for a funeral home. If they can be purchased for about 1.00 that is very reasonable as far as supplies go. Thank goodness it not like the cost of using aspirin if you are in the hospital! Instead of 5 cents, an aspirin cost 50.00! It's not cool to take advantage of the dead or the people that have to pay their final expenses. Thanks Kari for saving people a few bucks on final expenses. Every penny counts at a time like that!
