    What would I do with an Arkham Asylum series? Let's see...
    1) It would be reminescent of the delightful 52 series from about a decade ago, with each issue focusing on specific events that go on in the Asylum each week, with lasting effects coming from even one-panel joke scenes.
    2) There would be no main protagonist throughout the series, as that would get stale after a while, instead rotating each issue to someone different, with very few exceptions.
    3) Every rogue of the Bat-Family gets their due here, even if I personally dislike them (Hush) or they haven't appearing in comics for decades. This series would be the Rogues' time to shine.
    4) Batman does not speak at all in this series. He delivers the villain and disappears into the shadows in silence.
    I'm going to try and come up with a detailed plan for this at some point. I think it'll be fun.

    Most of the villains in this where used in the Beware the Batman cartoon. Humpty Dumpty,Junkyard Dog,Doodle Bug and Lunkhead (you didn't mention him but he appears) I would really enjoy an in depth review of the show. I always thought it was rather underrated.

      Lunkhead was kinda cool looking, like a Frankenstein's monster, but we never found out anything about him whatsoever.. In the comic I mean. I haven't seen much of Beware the Batman, but I'll probably get into that show in the future.

      could you an Underrated Rogues video of Warren White/Great White Shark, I think he is an Underrated Villain and an Interesting villain, he's like Jack Nicholson's Character (Randle P McMurphy) from One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest (1975) one of my favourite films and arguably Jack Nicholson's Greatest Performance of his entire acting career, he's the only sane inmate of Arkham Asylum who foolishly pleaded insanity, unlike Randle P McMurphy who got Lobotomized and then died, Warren White/Great White Shark got locked in Mr. Freeze's Cryogenic Cell and lost his Hair, Nose, Upper Lip and several of his Fingers and he became ''Insane and a Supervillain'' in his own right, I don't know what else they could do with the character he is basically a Mob Boss Type and he's the Gotham Villains Accountant (who is a Scumbag and they shouldn't trust him but they need to) and I like the OZ TV Series comparison is well but I think Great White Shark has a Lot of things in common with Randle P McMurphy from One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest (1975) , I would also make Warren White/Great White Shark an Enemy to Mr. Freeze and he should say Vile things about Freeze's Beloved yet Terminally Ill Cryogenically Frozen Wife Nora and I think Warren White/Great White Shark and Ferris Boyle (Mr. Freeze's Archenemy) SHOULD Form an Alliance that would be interesting to see and I would establish it and make Humpty Dumpty White's Only true friend, Humpty fails to realise that Warren White/Great White Shark is a Scumbag and what if Humpty is being Manipulated into doing The Dirty Work for Warren White/Great White Shark and he does care for Humpty Dumpty but in a Sick Twisted Way (Similar with how Villains use Bizarro in The DC Animated Universe)
      if Warren White/Great White Shark ever did appear in a Live Action Batman Movie
      I think either Tony Dalton (Lalo Salamanca from Better Call Saul, and The Swordsman from Marvel's Hawkeye TV Show) , Bob Odenkirk (Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman from Better Call Saul/Breaking Bad), Ralph Fiennes or Ray McKinnon should portray him
      (Ray McKinnon did portray an Accountant in a 2002 Movie he wrote/directed titled ''The Accountant''; he is best known for Portraying The Villainous yet weird US Assistant District Attorney Lincoln Potter in Sons of Anarchy Season 4 and then he reprised the role in the SOA Sequel Spin-Off Mayans MC)
      and I think it's time Ralph Fiennes Portrayed a SCUMBAG Character (Warren White/Great White Shark IS A SCUMBAG)
      I Think Tony Dalton would just fit the character of Warren White aka Great White Shark PERFECTLY
      did you know Warren White/Great White Shark has appeared in one form of Media: in The 2005 Animated Movie The Batman V Dracula (a movie set in the same continuity as The Batman 2004-2008 Cartoon) where it starts of at Arkham Asylum where the Inmates and Guards are having a Night of Bingo and Penguin is sitting next to a sane Inmate who says stuff like '''I cannot take another day in The Cuckoo's Nest'' and ''It was 10 Years in Arkham and I could have gotten 30 Years in the Slammer'' and he is responsible for The Movie's Events, we don't know if this is indeed Warren White (before he locked in Mr. Freeze's Cryogenic Cell and lost his Hair, Nose, Upper Lip and several of his Fingers and he became ''Insane and a Supervillain'' in his own right) or if it's a random Thug who IS Inspired by Warren White/Great White Shark, it's really Ambiguous
      and he has been teased throughout The Arkham Video Games but has NEVER APPEARED
      Arkham City (his Hideout Building appears in The Flooded Amusement Mile District with the Words ''W WHITE'')
      Arkham Asylum (you can scan his bodyparts preseved in a Jar in the Morgue after your first encounter with Scarecrow; that would unlock his Bio)
      Arkham Knight (his Bodyparts in a Jar is kept in the Evidence archive room on Display)
      could also do Underrated Villain reviews for Humpty Dumpty, Brother Blood (a Teen Titans Villain), Jane Doe and Shermin Fine/The Broker is well Please

      LUNKHEAD:
      he's basically a mentally disabled guy who criminals use as a Henchman/Manipulate him and they bribe him with Chocolate/Sweets and he'll do it, i'd bring Lunkhead back into the DC Comics and retcon the character and reimagine Lunkhead as a villain to Nightwing (Roland Desmond/Blockbuster II; Bludhaven's Biggest Crime Lord & Nightwing's Arch-Nemesis) could easily use him to commit crimes for him and he'll be bribed or offered Chocolate and He;ll take advantage of Lunkhead; I think this would benefit Lunkhead as a character and I think Nightwing would Benefit from having more villains in his rogues gallery) what do you think??? he would be Bizarro to Nightwing (and he would be like Leatherface as Lunkhead wouldn't talk he would just grunt and make baby noises) and I like the concept of him being a version of Frankenstein's Monster, to me I would make Lunkhead a tragic character, someone who is clearly mentally disabled and mentally changelling at times who sadly fails to realise that the criminals he's working for are taking advantage of him and they put stuff into his head and say that Nightwing is a ''Bad Man'' but all Nightwing is trying to do is to Help Lunkhead, I would also give Lunkhead a Tragic Backstory in that his Mother collapsed and died giving birth to him and he was hideously deformed (like Jason Voorhees without the Drowning) and he was a victim of Bullying and he doesn't fit well with Society

    * listens to ideas*. Wow Rouges' I gotta tell you, you need to get yourself hired one of these days.
    On another note though, in regards to White not knowing about Arkham, I don't think it's THAT far fetched. I mean, how many people really know that much about modern mental hospitals, famous or otherwise? Plus, unless I'm mistaken, wasn't it implied that White was from outside of Gotham anyway? On top of that, it's not like arkham is the only mental hospital where meta humans or super criminals reside; the D.C. Universe is loaded with crazy, super-powered people, there's gotta be more places to keep them. That said, I imagine besides some gothamites, most people probably don't consider Arkham to be the awful place it is. At least, that's my take.
    Nice video though

    This is one of my graphic novels and I really enjoyed it, though I do share some of the same criticisms. How did you feel about humpty's crimes being justification for the change in the Golden and Silver Age skyline to the more modern one? I thought it was pretty clever.
    -
    And on those pitches, that second one would be awesome! As a writer myself, I'd like to see what you could cook up with that concept. Do you have any experience writing comic scripts?
    I'm also curious as the what you would pitch for your Riddler one as well. I would understand you not going into detail as to protect intellectual property however.

    • @mr.rogues4145
      @mr.rogues4145  7 лет назад +6

      I thought it was a pretty fun explanation, but also unnesescary as this isn't the same continuity as the pre crisis universe anyways.
      No I can't really say that I have haha.. I just have ideas. I did write a few comic scripts that nothing ever became of though.. Have you gotten anything published yourself?
      The Riddler one would basically be a very noirish tale where Nigma gets dragged into all kinds of trouble, ivolving dames, mobsters and capers. Penguin would also appear. It was a really missed oppurtunity of DC to not give him a mini series when he was a private detective..

    • @AAllen-br8it
      @AAllen-br8it 7 лет назад +2

      That does sound like a cool tale if it were executed right. Judging by your content, however, I'm sure it would definitely be made with love. The PI phase was definitely a missed opportunity. I'm honestly surprised that they never made one for him during it.
      I have not had anything published as of now and don't plan to for a while, but I keep on writing anyway. I've just turned 18 last month and I've joined the Army Reserve so I can pay for college with the GI bill and the MOS I landed should provide me with a job that'll pay plenty for hiring artists, colorers, letters and the lot. I just have to do my MOS for 6 years while getting my foot in the door of the creative field.
      I have always wanted to write comic scripts for a living and I do plan on starting there but I hope to later move on to dabbling in writing for animation. Who knows? Maybe you'll hear about a successful pitch of mine that made it to being broadcasted sometime in the next few years :)
      If you ever did decide to make that script and pitch it, I would definitely support that. I've been supporting this channel (more with likes, comments, views and word of mouth. Unfortunately I don't have to funds myself to donate to your Patreon) for a while now because I can tell that you and I have similar tastes especially when it comes to Batman comics (my favorite since I was a child, actually gave me a lot of inspiration to pursue the goals I have) so I would definitely support you and look very much forward to a mini series written by you to come out in the medium. In fact I'd probably be more pumped for that than anything that has come out in comics recently.

    • @mr.rogues4145
      @mr.rogues4145  7 лет назад +3

      Sounds great! I wish you good luck with those plans!
      Well to be totally honest I think it's basically impossible that DC would ever hire me haha. Feels like you've gotta have a foot in the door already for that to happen. Know someone in the business or have already published work in the field. I've been thinking about writing a novel and publshing it on Amazon Kindle though, but we'll see.

    • @AAllen-br8it
      @AAllen-br8it 7 лет назад +2

      Gotham Rogues
      Oh yes you definitely do. The chances of getting on with a big player like DC without representation is, well... slim to none. It's definitely good to either have a name In some other creative field first or to push out some original works, the latter being what I would suggest.
      And thank you very much, I appreciate the support. If you ever get around to writing that novel, that would be really cool as well.
