Only guy where I come for a demo and then I just become enchanted with the playing and then I listen to them on repeat not even caring about the gear lol
If someone asked me the question “where would you like your playing to be in 5 years time”, I would show them this video. Inspirational. Beautiful phrasing and melodies. Really amazing stuff.
I've owned hundreds of pedals over the years, and that's no exaggeration. This is one of my most recent purchases, and I have to say...I love it so much. Just like this video shows, it is so versatile, and there are so many wonderful tones. A definite keeper.
This is a amazing pedal. i have owned about everything you can imagine and the Duellist tops them all. The pedal is so versatile it can sound like a tube screamer on steroids with so much gain on hand and so many EQ possibilities however still maintains the front of the note and the clarity, drive b side covers about any boost with tones of EQ possibilities as well. I have to mention that Guitar Rebellion is a great place to buy from, I live 12,000 miles away and they got it to me in 4 days, i couldn't believe it. next i have to try one of Jesse's Fuzz pedals.
Anyone who plays S.R.V. "Riviera Paradise" ( my favorite guitar tone, ever recorded - on the planet ) is ok in my book. Fantastic Tone & Tasty Playing .
Just got this pedal (I own tons of nice drives) and am blown away with how musical it sounds… you can feel the tone while playing… much better than my other drives.
Came to hear this pedal that everyone is so hyped about. The playing on this demo is.... Wow! What great phrasing. I don't trust the pedal now..... I'm certain this guy can make a Crate amp sound great
I just bought this pedal, I tell you the description he has in this video is accurate, it really is dynamic and glassy. to me it almost make my guitar sound like a bright piano. I am a noob guitar player, when I read some comments asking "how does it feel in the hand" I never really understand what they were asking because it's a pedal, how would a pedal be related to feel? but when I got myself one this I now realize what they're saying, the strings of the guitar seems to become a lot more loose and easier to bend, I was also able make the sound of my guitar quiet or loud by just changing how I pluck/strum the string thru this pedal.
I think I may have a slightly hot rodded one because even with the gain all the way down on the B side I get a good amount of grit, even through a clean amp. :/
I have signed up to be notified when they are in stock, but have been waiting a while now. very cool touch to your playing, what kind of amp were you playing into, tone was very sweet across the board.
I would of said the same thing a while back. After owning both, I would never sell my King of Tone but I would sell my Duellist. The more time I spent with the KOT the more I really began to like it and understand it. The Duellist demos all sound great but when I A/B’d the Duellist and KOT and then compared how they stacked with other pedals, it was no competition. Chris Buck said the same thing about the KOT, that he was disappointed with it at first but then over time it became the pedal he couldn’t play without and his main overdrive. Just my opinion and the Duellist is a great pedal but the King of Tone is an amazing clean boost, medium gain and high gain and it’s so crystal clear. It doesn’t change the tone of the amp or other pedals at all which is probably favorite feature about it.
Man, your tone in this demo and in every demo using a Two Rock amp is just one of the best I've heard. I have the Duellist, and I have a Classic Reverb Sig... I can't even get close haha. Any post-recording effects on your DAW?
Awesome playing man! Just love it. This pedal is great so far, so much versatility for sure. Curious how the two rock is setup here...on edge I assume?
That tone and riff at 1:10.... That was incredible.

Such a good song. John Mayer and Alicia Keys Lesson Learned! So underrated.

Thank you sir! ;)

Came for the pedal, left with a new Guitar teacher for my files. Thank You. Sure it's a great pedal. I'm on the EHX pay grade.
Just got this pedal (I own tons of nice drives) and am blown away with how musical it sounds… you can feel the tone while playing… much better than my other drives.
Can you compare it with the Ecstasy Wampler overdrive? I mean, can this duelist be as much transparent as the Wampler?
You’ve got a very good vocal quality to your playing man. Outstanding!
One of the best demos of this pedal I've heard so far - thanks.

Holy shit that phrasing, so melodic. 10/10
What a great demo of this pedal. I just got a green one. It sounds amazing.
Superb guitar player
Damn that’s sounds good and the playing is real tasty. Wish we could see the settings for that intro though
I studied the Alicia's cover that you make in this video, really fun to play! thanks for sharing! oh....and yes...i ordered the Duellist -.-

Dave Fore thank you 😉
Super son!!
Quel est le modèle de strat jaune? Elle est superbe
I think I may have a slightly hot rodded one because even with the gain all the way down on the B side I get a good amount of grit, even through a clean amp. :/
Great Playing! is the clean tone at the beginning utilizing the Duellist? Great Clean tone!!!!
Nice video and tone, and great playing as well 👍🏼 how did you put the reverb, before or after the delay? Thanks 🙏🏼
Delay > Reverb
Hmmm what you failed to mention is that the left side can get you pretty close to fuzz territory by itself
@guitars rebelion love your playing, btw Which side of the duellist did you use on the first song the mayer/Alicia keys
I have signed up to be notified when they are in stock, but have been waiting a while now. very cool touch to your playing, what kind of amp were you playing into, tone was very sweet across the board.
Just bought a King of Tone - man, I wish I had got this now instead.

The king of tone is a piece of shit. I’ve owned two and sold them both
très chouette son Cyril, que modèles de micros strat et ampli utilises-tu ? merci d'avance
Michael Lariviere hello j’utilise des Lollar et ampli two rock sp 35 👍🏻
Hello. Pretty awesome tone and brilliant smooth playing .... What is the tune you're playing at the start ?
Alicia Keys Lesson Learned
@@GuitarsRebellionOfficial is that the left or right side or both side you used on that track? It sounds so good!
Great pedal....what’s the current power consumption? I see one of your other dual pedals is maybe 25mA? Thx
The song is gret!
Awesome vid. I think you just convinced me to get the duellist. BTW, who makes the olympic white relic strat??
Rommel Ladiao hello thanks 🙏🏻Rittenhouse guitars 🎸
LESSON LEARNED

Nope. Nothing fancy added, just a bit of reverb and the mastering ;)
Fede S. Kajganić thanks 🙏🏻 two rock and duellist epic combo 🤘🏻
the tone in your clips is quite good, though?
I just hear a lot more treble/mids in yours; that should be easily "fixable" if you think it's an issue.
Awesome playing man! Just love it. This pedal is great so far, so much versatility for sure. Curious how the two rock is setup here...on edge I assume?
Sounds great! What are the pickups?
Hi thanks 🙏🏻 Lollar strat special pickups
Is there a way I can get the backing track for lessons learned?
Very sweet playing and I’m a sucker for a Strat!!!
I have this pedal and that two rock amp is making 75% of that tone
Just ordered at Guitar Rebellion ..can you please wrote set up on pedal for this solos? which amp is used?
I got the Duellist. I wanted to hate it and say it was overrated and overpriced.
I can not say these things.
