- On the high plateaus of Bolivia at more than 3700 meters of altitude, in Oruro, the carnival is the living expression of the long history of the conquest of the country by the Spanish people. If the carnival is entirely dedicated to the virgin, with the pilgrimage-parade which lasts more than 5 hours, it is a virgin of mixed race which is venerated, fruit of the resistance of the local populations which succeeded in transmitting the symbols of the Andean cultures. And it is to the rhythm of the "Diablada", which embodies the soul of the Andean man that the carnival is celebrated, danced and played every year during several days.

ORURO- BOLIVIA 🇧🇴🇧🇴🇧🇴IS BEAUTOFUL AND WONFERFUL
Often I will wonder when these documentaries were filmed, but this has got to be pre-2020, and that's probably true for all of them
Ian it Juan Jose Lozano or who’s deleting comments *CORRECTING YOU* on the lack of FACTS of your production on a subject I know, not just because it’s my culture since I’m Bolivian, but Leo cause I’ve went to the carnival de Oruro since I was a child.
Learn from errors. And STOP trying to silence comments. At best, you can use the engagement 🙄
