I love when V sings in lower pitch which sounds darker ,but when you watch their interviews or behind the scenes stuffs, they mentioned that they changed their pitch sometimes to fit with the style of the song or to blend with the other members' tone. I think the discussed a lot on how they are going to perform before every stage and they decide what kind of tone they need to use in every part. V's deep sounds must be the most unique part of him that he could show off in all his solo works but I am just so amazed that he could change his tone easily during group projects to fit with other members' vocal .In conclusion ,V is an amazing singer.

@VforVitch No, Stigma is actually not higher than what Jimin did for Life Goes On. In their high note battles Tae has reached C6, but I'm positive Jin and Jimin will be able to hit higher notes if they really tried. Jimin can _sing_ a A5, he can surely hit higher than a C6 now as he's improved a lot. Though range in itself doesn't say much about your singing ability. Actually when Kpop bands have these high note battles the rappers usually win as they have poorer vocal technique and are able to push their voices way into unhealthy areas which most of the best vocalists cannot.
@@kristin123a taehyung is a naturally baritone singer but he still keeps up with the other 3 tenor singers with full stability and fits right in. Taehyung usually sings in the lower register but could still hit the notes so perfectly, its always a wonder ^^
V has such a powerful range, shoving him into just his lower chest voice when he sings would be doing his talent a crazy disservice, just like making Jin and Jimin only sing high notes.

V's voice is actually dark, his voice can surely cure insomnia . I dont know about others, but V's voice for ME can lead me to a place i never been. He freakin fantasises the audience . And thats what I love about him❤

Justin I totally agree with you! My favorite thing about V’s voice is that rich, dark tone! I really want to hear him do more of that R&B flavor he seems born to do! He sounded beautiful in this performance on melody and he did some really nice high and low fills as a bonus! Still, I long to see him have the freedom to flex his vocal creativity as he did in Stigma and Singularity! He also gives a really gorgeous vocal performances in his ballads like Sweet Night, Winter Bear, and 4 O’Clock as well as a nice smooth jazz retro vibe of Snow Flower. In Inner Child, more of a pop rock anthem, he sings with passion and gives a powerful performance. Still, with all those great songs and genres he can do so well, what I crave most is that delicious neo soul sound that made Singularity one of the most replay-worthy songs of the decade! Paired with Stigma on my playlist, they provide the kind of ear candy that leaves every listener wanting more!! All Kim Taehyung/V music is on my daily playlist, but these two songs always leave me wanting more of his soulful voice. It captured the attention of Iris Stephenson when BTS filmed American hustle life. If you haven’t heard V do the gospel spiritual, Oh Happy Day, you should listen to the performance he did with Jungkook and Suga in L.A.after a little vocal coaching from Iris, The maturity of his voice in those scenes is mind boggling. He was about 17 and had a big voice that was very adult!
@F frzsri from what I understand, he is reworking those tracks because he wasn’t satisfied and thought he could make them better. Hopefully it’s just his perfectionist side at work, but I think his rough cuts were really good, so I hope he realizes his fans will love it and he doesn’t need to worry so much!💜

Taehyung is like a caged bird, it’s obvious that he is containing his voice. It’s really a shame because I’m sure he can make an incredible performance, but I think they don’t let him, like it’s necessary to just blend their voices. Same same, i love and miss his dark tone. Reality is, V always needs to adjust to singing to higher notes to accommodate other members. Even when they make songs, sometimes the pitch is changed to a higher one. And you are right, V had to change his singing to a brighter tone to match the requirement of their new songs. I, too, am looking forward to his mixtape, where he will surely sing in his natural element.

Definitely V's voice have so much to show. Even J-hope said something like "Your voice is too good to go unheard" and I second on that. His voice got so much charm. It's so unique. On the latest releases like BE album and on that, songs like "Fly to my ROOM", "Blue & Grey" and his solo's like Winter flower his voice tone is shining so much in different ways. I love it sm. the pitch on the songs keeps going higher, so V needed to adapt the way he sings, you could notice since the performance of "spring day" in Tiny Desk, he didn't sings his verse after Jin with his deep voice, also in the last performances of Dinamyte he reach the last high note with more ease... I, too, love and miss his deep, low voice so I really hope his mixtape's gonna have a lot of his pure deep, low and sexy voice

As another comment said below, V try to adapt the tone and pitch to the group, so it means that he can't sing with his darker tone in many of the BTS songs; I think it's a way to survive... so we can only listen that marvellous dark voice in his solos and mixtape... fun fact: recently apparently he said that he had 15 songs for the mixtape but he discarded 12, so... I think we have to wait a little more for hearing it...

Yes it's one of my favourite songs and you can listen his low register in film out too...but it doesn't mean that he doesn't try to adapt her pitch and tone and expand his range (that is quite impressive) and change his way of sing... It's not bad, just different... I love his voice in the last cover, I think he has improve his head voice but I love the way he sings in sweet night or singularity for example. By the way... It's just MY opinion... It can be wrong🤷♀️
I agree with you, I love V’s dark vocal tone as well and I was quite surprised when I first joined the fandom especially since he was mostly just growling in their earlier music.. I was told that since he is the only baritone in the vocal line, the songs arent usually in his comfort zone.. which is why his solo songs taps more into the deeper tone eg; singularity, 4 o’clock and sweet night.
Taehyung doesn't get a lot of chance to show off his voice because his voice is deep, and kpop songs are mostly 'high pitched' and in their early days, he was in charge of 'growls' and deep voices in their songs which is rare... He only has a few lines in their early years but as time passes, the fans fall for him and he was always 1st or 2nd in popularity in BTS that's why the company is giving him more lines but it still isn't enough. PLEASE REACT TO BLUE AND GREY!
I don’t think they will do that. He can easily over shadow the others…even with his few lines he is already snatching the attention. One or two lines he still shines.

I'm so happy to see you appreciate V's voice so much. Many reaction channels and vocal coaches tend to appreciate Jimin's high notes, JK's adlibs, harmonization and stability and Jin's belts and high notes a lot and I don't blame them. Of course those are all true and all of the vocalists are great in their own respects but I've always wanted to see V being recognized more for the effort he puts in to training his baritone voice so it can compliment the others tenor. The high notes are often what stand out to people but his low voice plays such a crucial role in making BTS's vocal colour stand out more and you can take this with a grain of salt since I haven't listened to many kpop groups but among those that I have listened to I think BTS's vocal line has the most diverse tones and vocal colour. Even when I didn't know the members yet I could make out 4 distinct voices during the vocal parts.
As much as I love Vs dark tone I don't feel its necessary to box him in that category. Like other members he as a very versatile voice and he has grown so much as as vocalist. And honestly i like this new brighter tone too...its its so smooth and warm like honey just rings reassuringly in my ears. And its still unique to me. Also, his solo tracks and some group tracks still have his lower tone...Blue and Grey for example as that tone fits the song. Now i am no vocal coach nor am i vocally trained but as a listener i really like when i get different qualities from the vocalist instead of them sticking to the mold.
Finally someone REALLY appreciating taehyung's vocal diversity especially on this cover, I'm pretty sure he has more to show us in his mixtape and I can't wait to hear it, thank you for your reaction 💜
I really agree with you. V has a lot more potential but he isnt able to show all of those in group songs. And yeah, his mixtape is gonna be so beautiful! We would be able to see his different shades as he has mentioned in interviews manier times. Im just patiently waiting for it.💜
Been waiting for your reaction to this. I just wish you had touched on their changes to the lyrics. V made the change to one glad morning instead of one black morning. RM said see half your face, SUGA talked about the feeling around the pandemic and J Hope talked about seeing us again and said I promise. Their take was more for the hope of seeing ARMY. The lyrics they did are worth looking up. It added so much and when you understand them it takes this to a whole new level for you.
I completely get you regarding V's vocals. Frankly I feel it's so under rated and under appreciated. Which is why I like to hear his solos especially the ones that are not part of their albums. Most people and reactors I have seen only seem to appreciate the high notes... Not that I have anything against high notes. I love them too.
Maybe, reactors are imprest with those castrato voices, but I can bet, they don't listen twice🤣🤣 I'm sorry to say, but whole high pitch song giving me brain anevrizma.
For days I have been thinking about why there is a lot of appreciation for high notes and they forget about the low ones, and I think it is because when listening to a high note it kind of reaches the brain where it reverberates and people are exhilarated, while the low ones and especially the low voices generate feeling which takes them, let's say, straight to the heart. That is why I think that those of us who appreciate those voices are more sensitive. A few days ago I saw a reaction to Cristal Snow and the vocal coach pointed out that because Tae was a baritone he appreciated more that he reached high notes since doing so requires much more technique, effort and practice. For me, that comment made me realize that he appreciated his voice and recognizes the great effort he makes to be able to raise his tone and reach high notes because I see that others have those notes in what is already their comfort zone.
I do love V's dark voice but the range flexibility he has is so special. I agree that there is more to come. He is short 3 songs and suggested his mix tape will happen next year. I'm so anxious for it.

Sure v has dark and amazing voice and this is like u said totally subjective but i really love his bright voice too...i love it that he is being a bit versatile like jungkook who can hit high notes and dark notes all of them very beatifully....no doubt v's dark voice is what differentiates him from others, what makes him unique, but i really like his bright voice too

Definitely V's voice have so much to show. Even J-hope said something like "Your voice is too good to go unheard" and I second on that. His voice got so much charm. It's so unique. On the latest releases like BE album and on that, songs like "Fly to my ROOM", "Blue & Grey" and his solo's like Winter flower his voice tone is shining so much in different ways. I love it sm. Really can't wait for his mixtape.

the pitch on the songs keeps going higher, so V needed to adapt the way he sings, you could notice since the performance of "spring day" in Tiny Desk, he didn't sings his verse after Jin with his deep voice, also in the last performances of Dinamyte he reach the last high note with more ease... I, too, love and miss his deep, low voice so I really hope his mixtape's gonna have a lot of his pure deep, low and sexy voice

As another comment said below, V try to adapt the tone and pitch to the group, so it means that he can't sing with his darker tone in many of the BTS songs; I think it's a way to survive... so we can only listen that marvellous dark voice in his solos and mixtape... fun fact: recently apparently he said that he had 15 songs for the mixtape but he discarded 12, so... I think we have to wait a little more for hearing it...

I agree with you, I love V’s dark vocal tone as well and I was quite surprised when I first joined the fandom especially since he was mostly just growling in their earlier music.. I was told that since he is the only baritone in the vocal line, the songs arent usually in his comfort zone.. which is why his solo songs taps more into the deeper tone eg; singularity, 4 o’clock and sweet night.
Taehyung doesn't get a lot of chance to show off his voice because his voice is deep, and kpop songs are mostly 'high pitched' and in their early days, he was in charge of 'growls' and deep voices in their songs which is rare... He only has a few lines in their early years but as time passes, the fans fall for him and he was always 1st or 2nd in popularity in BTS that's why the company is giving him more lines but it still isn't enough.

I'm so happy to see you appreciate V's voice so much. Many reaction channels and vocal coaches tend to appreciate Jimin's high notes, JK's adlibs, harmonization and stability and Jin's belts and high notes a lot and I don't blame them. Of course those are all true and all of the vocalists are great in their own respects but I've always wanted to see V being recognized more for the effort he puts in to training his baritone voice so it can compliment the others tenor. The high notes are often what stand out to people but his low voice plays such a crucial role in making BTS's vocal colour stand out more and you can take this with a grain of salt since I haven't listened to many kpop groups but among those that I have listened to I think BTS's vocal line has the most diverse tones and vocal colour. Even when I didn't know the members yet I could make out 4 distinct voices during the vocal parts.
As much as I love Vs dark tone I don't feel its necessary to box him in that category. Like other members he as a very versatile voice and he has grown so much as as vocalist. And honestly i like this new brighter tone too...its its so smooth and warm like honey just rings reassuringly in my ears. And its still unique to me. Also, his solo tracks and some group tracks still have his lower tone...Blue and Grey for example as that tone fits the song. Now i am no vocal coach nor am i vocally trained but as a listener i really like when i get different qualities from the vocalist instead of them sticking to the mold.
V said he completed 12 songs out of 15 songs from his mixtape....so fingers crossed!

RM said see half your face, SUGA talked about the feeling around the pandemic and J Hope talked about seeing us again and said I promise. Their take was more for the hope of seeing ARMY. For days I have been thinking about why there is a lot of appreciation for high notes and they forget about the low ones, and I think it is because when listening to a high note it kind of reaches the brain where it reverberates and people are exhilarated, while the low ones and especially the low voices generate feeling which takes them, let's say, straight to the heart.
That is why I think that those of us who appreciate those voices are more sensitive.
A few days ago I saw a reaction to Cristal Snow and the vocal coach pointed out that because Tae was a baritone he appreciated more that he reached high notes since doing so requires much more technique, effort and practice.
For me, that comment made me realize that he appreciated his voice and recognizes the great effort he makes to be able to raise his tone and reach high notes because I see that others have those notes in what is already their comfort zone.
