Been a metalhead for over 50 years. Very few non-metal songs break through my metal wall. This song is fire 🔥. Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa bring swagger and attitude. All four have great voices, and this song with all its changes flows smooth as silk. The beat is sick, the drops are hard, and they sure can spit. All four are unique and amazing. Jennie is my favorite, but I love all of them pretty much equally.
Surprisingly a lot of metal heads are Blackpink fans. Like myself since they started Day 1. My theory is that it’s because they’re both high energy music plus what red blooded aggressive male wouldn’t like watching them? Win/win
