Ha! They didn't have as many products back then! She seems to be a real decent woman. On the LP that she's promoting here and on one other appearance that I've seen her on, some decent people took harsh jabs. But Ms. Midler took it all on her chin, apologizing for some rough things she'd said, thinking, at the time, that she "was incredibly clever & witty, but instead was incredibly cruel & stupid". Wisdom comes with age, but not many are gracious enough to bring their mistakes into light & then apologize for being a "wise-guy", as such. I like this woman alot, I think she's the real thing. And some of her ballads that were "just" LP tracks, are so unique, so sad & delivered w/o putting on a show. I love those songs as much as, if not more than, her big hits or big show stoppers. She'll still be knocking them out of the park for many years to come.
No darling. You are just gay! 🤣 Me too! We make these stars and we keep them alive. Once we are dead no one will talk about them like before. Certainly not Millenials or Gen z!
I was with Bette Midler , She was trying to tell me she wanted me but I didn't pick up on what she was trying to tell me . I was 22 and she was 34 .. You all should have been there to this day I can't believe Bette Started talking to me . And asking me very personal questions ? I really believe she still remembers me even after so many years . yes I could have been married to Bette Midler . if I had picked up on what she was trying to tell me ..
I love Bette Midler ❤❤❤ this album is good. I bought the vinyl recently.
Dear God, I'm 40! Every time I watch Bette, she just gets me. I can really relate to her. "The Divine Miss M" is one of my all-time favorite albums.
David loved Miss Bett!
Why Bother? Was the first thing I remember hearing from Bette Midler.
And who knew she was on the verge of a HUGE comeback with "Down and Out"?

She has transcended time, like Cher.
