In your description, are you saying that you basically use a mixture of part potassium hydroxide and part sodium hydroxide? Also, are you using piping bags inside your squeeze bottles? That's a great idea too! I hate cleaning those bottles.
only sodium hydroxide, the 45% Naoh solution is a premixed product of 45% sodium hydroxide and 55% water. In case of using it, I don't need to wait for cooling down, it's already in room temperature.

Mix the front/middle/base note of essential oil together. If you only use front note like peppermint, rosemary, lemon...the scent fade very fast.
